I can put up with piercings and tattoos(hasn't had them done yet, but they are on the cards) heavy metal music, wearing black all the time, just take it in my stride.
but today he has taken it too far and I am shocked and worried. he told me today that he likes coldplay
At the moment it is only a couple of their songs.
but AIBU it be scared that this is the start of a terrible time. will he now become a fan?
will he start liking Kylie.

Yikes! If he moves on to musical theatre, you must call in the professionals!

nancy75 · 19/07/2008 17:36

put him on ebay immediately, he might go and buy an albulm and then you would have to hear it.

FabioUnblogged · 19/07/2008 17:37

Throw him out now.
You have to show him who's boss.

Did you not smack him enough as a baby, did you praise him too much, did you not force him to play a musical instrument he hated?

Not that you should blame yourself...

Oh 2shoes thats dreadful.

You must feel dreadful that a child of yours has turned out so wrong.
What have you done that made him like that??

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 19:27

Encourage that.

Niceychops · 22/07/2008 15:40

Today it's Coldplay; tomorrow it could be James Blunt. Disown him. You need to be cruel to be kind.

Janos · 22/07/2008 15:43

Contact SS right now. Run, don't walk to the phone.

Coldplay is taking things too far!
