I want the weirdest of icks, I’m bored and want a giggle..

I’ll go first…

skinny jeans

OP posts:

Overly built men/bodybuilders that wear those horrible gym vests with the gaping armholes. They tend to use the sunbeds a lot too so are normally a weird shade of red and when they do get out of their gym gear they wear short sleeves shirts that are straining at the seams with skinny jeans and little white trainers. Massive, massive ick.

Adults who never drink tea or coffee. Choose squash or hot chocolate instead

So you'll never marry a Mormon then 😁

CorkedWellbeing · Today 09:16

Men with long nails 🤢🤢🤢

🙈 I live in leggings and crocs, you'd hate me, I give myself the ick though

But my jumpers are nice and soft ☺️ and my clothes smell of lenor outdoorable, which i think hope softens it

Depends how much lennor you use...

Grey tracksuit bottoms on men, one dad on the school run had a dark mark on the front where he must have constantly rubbed
hands down front of trousers, I swear one day im going to slap their hands

Dollysfriend · Today 09:20

My DH tried on skinny jeans once, he's 6'5" and an ex basketball player. It was hilarious. I look like a parsnip in them!

I can't abide the 'bikini wax' beard as per page one of this thread. It looks pervy.

Men who drink halves or Gin and Tonic.

People who eat fish looking for bones.

Do you mean like Charlie Chaplin, ie feet not facing forward? If so, I’m the same!

Mine are gum chewing and spitting.
I can whole heartedly with the majority of these traits and I can luckily say most don't apply to me. Except the beer gut / middle aged spread which I am deeply ashamed of and I find very difficult to cover up effectively all the time, I just look like a snake that's swallowed an animal whole.

However, I walk at 10to2 and that's just the way I was built and it causes me crippling embarrassment having suffered through school. I tried to correct it but causes terrible pain in my knees and hips. So please hold off on the ones that people can't help.

Having an interest in football.
Body hair (below the waist is fine).
Beards.

Men of any age using those words, especially ‘totty’..🤮

chocolatemademefat · Today 09:44

Men who hold their nose when jumping into a swimming pool.

zingally · Today 09:47

Men who wear more than one ring. Yuck.

Ponoka7 · Today 09:48

Men who spell it Garrie. 😬

Surely that's using the surname as a first name, as is common across some areas of the UK eg Robson Green.
Kevin, Carl. Gaz, Darren, all very common and along with Alan, still used in Eastern Europe. It tends to be because of those families, there are babies with thise names, about.

Any of the shapeless, sludge coloured, or barrel shaped clothing recommended on S&B. Give me leggings any day over the clown trousers women are being persuaded to buy.

😅 Very distant memory unlocked! Charles Hawtrey!

ETA he’d be wearing a stripey, oldfashioned romper style swimming costume!

Giggorata · Today 10:05

Oh dear, I didn’t realise how many icks I have! (Or what a paragon of virtue DH is)
I agree wholeheartedly with most of these…

I will add:
wearing a collar and tie with jeans
short sleeved shirts, particularly with a tie.
wearing what is obviously the jacket for a suit, especially with jeans
grey marle anything
those bright football shirts which appear to be made of plastic
baseball caps

Washing up bowl left in damp sink to grow who knows what underneath. Damp towels screwed up on rack to not air properly. Pegs left on washing line. Washing line left up in winter. Abandoned plant pots. Christmas cards not firmly stuck on a display thing. Christmas cards sideways on on a bit of string. The back of pubs with extraction fan blowing out fatty smell. Any sort of vaping or smoking. Just anything really!

Kelticgold · Today 10:24

You know the X stitch at the back of a coat? It is meant to be temporary, it is meant to be removed. Every winter the same struggle.

Oh dear. My rescue cat is called Totty! So named, by rescue people, she was found in Tottenham. There was another called Finsbury. She’s a black cat and they are already hard to home apparently. I thought of changing it but she’s been through so much already in her little life I didn’t want her to lose her name too. I have warned my husband not to stand at back door calling her name. 🙈🙈🙈

When they say arks instead of ask.

Of instead of have.
