Amazon order not delivered

I have placed a pretty hefty Amazon order. Christmas gifts and some stock up bits as I bulk buy all household essentials on there (it’s cheaper!)

The order was meant to be delivered between 11&2. Then it was pushed back, and now it’s just marked as “still arriving today”.

i suspect it’s not coming because it’s such a large delivery but AIBU to complain?!

Gosh yes, let's just tell the trees not to fall over, the roads not to collapse, or the electricity not to go off.

This is why I don't pay for Prime. Regular delivery usually arrives almost as quickly, and I don't push my blood pressure by having expectations of a next day service I barely ever need anyway.

Are the on the spectrum OP?

If it gets pushed and pushed then still says arriving today, for me it usually means it’ll arrive the next day. Not a big deal. Things happen, like others say could be the weather, could be another explanation. Prime isn’t always guarenteed.

The only time I’ve complained is when it’s been marked as delivered but I watched the Amazon driver literally stop at the end of my lane then drive off! Spoke to customer service who made sure it was delivered early the next day and a voucher for my inconvenience.

I was due a same day grocery delivery via Amazon on Friday evening. I was really looking forward to making tea with what I’d ordered. First I got an email to say it was running late but would still be there then eventually at about 6am the next day I got an email to say it would no longer be delivered and I would get a refund. I’m assuming it was due to the storm, but Friday really wasn’t too bad where I am so maybe it wasn’t that. Not the end of the world but I was a bit miffed I had to settle on something I didn’t really want for tea!

To be fair I understand this… you ordered food and needed it to cook that day and would have ordered from elsewhere or gone to the shop- this is not unreasonable at all to be a bit peed off

I've just read that a man in Scotland died when a tree fell on him as a result of storm Boelo and 160,000 properties are without power and you are concerned that your Amazon parcel didn't arrive?

@amazonletmedownhaven't posted since 19:24, so her parcel has probably arrived. We can now move on with life after a dramatic few hours.
