To think this is a decent day of eating?

I have prepped food for tomorrow and my partner says it’s awful, but I think it’s decent!

Breakfast is baked oats - whey protein added and made with dark chocolate chips and some frozen raspberries. 420 calories and 33g of protein.

Lunch - chicken pie with baby potatoes. Lighter puff pastry used. 520 calories and 54g of protein.

Dinner - beef stew. Beef, potatoes, vegetables and gravy.

Snacks - light Greek yoghurt with stewed berries, and a packet of popchips.

Total - 1511 calories, 137g of protein and 37g of fibre.

I’m on a weight loss journey and will go to the gym before work tomorrow. I think it’s balanced, provides all my fruit and veg for the day (8 portions), hits my goals (im more worried about fibre than protein) and is genuinely tasty wholesome food.

YABU - this is unhealthy.

YANBU - it’s a good day of food.

Oo that sounds interesting. Please could you share more? I'm presuming it's eating carbs with protein?

And fibre. Look up the glucose goddess on Instagram, I can't remember her real name. She also had a series on channel 4 last year where she cured someone's type 2 diabetes with her eating method. All very easy to follow, mainly revolves around eating fibre at the start of meals and short bursts of exercise after you eat

You have actually explained, far better than me, what I was trying to express.

What that a reply to me?

It sounds great actually. Ignore all the ‘I look at a cracker for lunch’ lot. It’s calories in/calories out.

Thank you :)
Ah yes I'm aware of that programme (my sister told me about the Glucose Goddess a couple of years ago) as it is similar to a programme called Radiant Recovery by Kathleen Des Maisons which I've followed aspects for more than 20yrs now. Many people on RR have also been able to reverse their type 2 diabetes without even necessarily losing weight - just changing how they eat. It's amazing 😍

The teeny tinies who lick a lettuce leaf 3 times a month and tell you there's too many carbs in a deep breath need to be ignored completely.

What kind of gluttonous pig would lick a lettuce leaf? I just hang around Waitrose and sniff near the duchy organics romaine every other Thursday and I'm stuffed until the next week.

It sounds a whole lot better than his diet, OP. Good for you on the weight loss.
