To think Jools has the perfect life

Jools Oliver

Lots of kids, with partner since very young, lots of money, beautiful home.
I realise no one's life is perfect, but it seems ideal. Found love early, no rubbish men or heartbreak or loneliness of being alone and struggling. loads of kids and a loving, large family there as you get older, no money worries or having to work unless you want to, amazing countryside home

Am envious!

People want to be married to Gordon Ramsay now? That constantly angry man?

I reckon he'd be good in bed though

OP I'm interested in your take on this. Are you keen to improve your own life? Does thinking about hers make you sad, inspired, or what?

Or are you her, on a PR effort :)

😂 No, my life is fine...But...I would have loved more kids, the big country house and money! It doesn't make me sad though

Not really, she's married to Jamie Oliver.

Exactly what I was going to say.

AutumnLover1999 · 15/10/2026 12:14

It's amazing what she's happy to put up with,as he's had a few affairs apparently, then she has a band aid baby. Not a life I'd want.

But where has this been said?

sHREDDIES19 · 15/10/2026 12:54

Didn't she set up and run a very successful kids clothing brand, Little Bird? I bought a few pieces myself. She sold it to Next. Definitely not trad wife vibes.

menopausalmare · 15/10/2026 12:54

....but she has to live with Jamie Oliver.

Rachelshair · 15/10/2026 12:55

Nope, I would hate to be second fiddle to a big cheese type man, she's probably felt like a single parent, and so many kids! Not my idea of perfect, even if it is as great as it looks. And is having one man for life to be envied?
But yes it would be great to be rich, no arguments there.

JHound · 15/10/2026 12:56

Who is Jools?

gannett · 15/10/2026 12:56

I wouldn't want anything about her life (kids, countryside, Jamie Oliver) except that she has a husband who's a great cook. And I have that, and he's not Jamie Oliver, so I'll take my life in the city with no kids (and yes, much less money but whatever) any day.

TheyWereFriendlyCreatures · 15/10/2026 12:57

Tootsurly · 15/10/2026 12:08

I don't know that I'd want her life per se, but I do envy people who found their life partner young without having to put up with a series of crap men.

Interesting - do most people feel like this?
I think it's far more preferable to find a life partner slightly later (around 30 perhaps) when you've had a good chance of independence and freedom, and really know yourself. Obviously without a series of crap men though! Just enjoying being free and single, time with friends, flings, relationships with ok men who may not be forever.

summersolsticesoon · 15/10/2026 12:59

I would imagine having 5 children on the spectrum is extremely challenging and as for being married to Jamie, a beautiful home would not compensate me.

Babybirdmum · 15/10/2026 13:00

I see what you mean but most of my jealousy comes from their kitchen he cooks in on TV. It’s the perfect sort of messy, with £300 pans and knives that are always sharp. When I cut an onion it takes 3 hours. I just need to buy a knife sharpener but alas my life is not like that

Waitingfordoggo · 15/10/2026 13:03

Agree.

Love the kitchen! All looks so homely

You can get frozen pre-chopped onion in Waitrose if that helps.

Dandeloosha · 15/10/2026 13:11

She has to shag Jamie Oliver though, and listen to him.

Pedallleur · 15/10/2026 13:12

Probably lots of people have a nice life. If they have money, good health and their partner, family etc are healthy then their life will be good. Mrs Oliver hasn't got exclusivity

Pedallleur · 15/10/2026 13:13

JHound · 15/10/2026 12:56

Who is Jools?

Wife of Jamie Oliver (TV chef)

Cosygirl · 15/10/2026 13:13

Sorry op but I fond this so odd.

Besides the fact that I find Jamie Oliver very irritating. I feel like is was going to aspire to be someone it would be a woman who was funny, talented, had a great career.

I don’t really see being married young and loads of kids as something to aspire to.

BigBadPotato · 15/10/2026 13:14

ClearFruit · 15/10/2026 10:43

Not really, she's married to Jamie Oliver.

Beat me to it 😂
I’m sure she’s very happy with her life, hope she is anyway, as I do with anyone really, but no, thanks, I’ll keep my lovely husband and kids any day of the week… even if we’re not completely minted 🙃

SabrinaBricklayer · 15/10/2026 13:18

faithfultoGeorgeMichael · 15/10/2026 11:58

No but I know someone who was and deeply regrets it.

You said he’s had affairs one after the other. Did he tell your friend that?

notnorman · 15/10/2026 13:20

CactusCuttings · 15/10/2026 11:22

Loads of kids, to me, means loads of worries. I worry enough about my nieces and nephews suffering and finding life hard. I'd feel completely responsible for my own children's pain and that would be unbearable. I'm also autistic and am shocked that an autistic woman would have children knowing how painful life is!

I always think that. All that worry!

notnorman · 15/10/2026 13:21

she designs nice dog jumpers (well, my dog likes his)

FckThisShit · 15/10/2026 13:27

I'd rather be Gordon Ramsay's wife than Jamie Oliver's.

Butchyrestingface · 15/10/2026 13:29

As PP have said, she's married to Jamie Oliver - the man who turned up to his own wedding looking like a dog's dinner.
