I am sick of the reform rhetoric spreading into every little thing that happens

In my town, three things have happened in the last week:

  1. a border force boat was spotted refuelling in the harbour
  2. a coach was seen at Sainsbury’s petrol station
  3. some Asian men were seen at a local hotel

Now each of these things have innocent explanations:

  1. the boat was quite literally just refuelling
  2. it was a school coach at a petrol station
  3. theyre a Bollywood film crew filming at a local beach. Said local beach is closed and they’re filming overnight, so needed somewhere to stay.

But of course, the racist reform nuts have decided that the border force is “shipping” migrants straight to us and bussing them in (it’s either one or the other surely? They’re either delivering them by boat or coach 🙄) and people are now making threats against the general manager of the hotel where the film crew have been staying. Apparently people have been going into the hotel and questioning the manager about the people staying there and what they’re doing there.

im sick of it. Never mind the fact that it would be impossible for the small boats to get across the channel to us, these are all innocent things. But the reform rhetoric has spread to the point that people who aren’t white can’t even stay in a hotel without people getting angry and threatening violence. It’s disgusting.

They are not undocumented once they are in the asylum system.

Ofcourse a few will be bad ones, the majority are not.

I appreciate they may have their biometrics taken when they arrive in the UK- do they all have their biometrics taken ? Is this their finger prints?

But it doesn’t take away the fact that we don’t know their history.

How can you do a background check on someone that arrives by a boat? How do you know what they’ve done in their home countries?

How can you do a DBS check on someone you know nothing about ?

Of course there are bad white British men here. But the difference is , they are registered, and documented, they will have a traceable history.

It's finger prints and facial recognition, and it's all asylum seekers over age 5. A 30 second Google told me that, so you could have researched this yourself.

Why should an asylum seeker need a DBS check when most people in the UK don't need one to live their lives?

As for your previous post - you claim not all Reform voters are racist. Maybe not. But they are all xenophobic and tolerant of corruption, grifting and incompetence. Not a good look.

No there’s not much that can be checked as the state in say Sudan, Iran or Afghanistan won’t know all crime or share it. And some crimes are state backed anyway.

Yeah not everyone needs a DBS check. I was thinking more of people going into carer jobs , NHS jobs.

Does this mean that asylum seekers that come here go onto a date base ? So if a crime is committed, the authorities would have their DNA on file ?

The idiots that post racist rants on social media probably don’t vote for anyone anyway , I doubt they bother going to a polling station to exercise their democratic right-yet blame everyone else for their own failures.

Ah more leftist nonsense.

it’s any govts job to protect its borders. It is not doing so and in fact doing the reverse.
I bloody hope reform get in

You think it was left wing people too stupid to understand that not every coach contains asylum seekers, and that not every Asian man who happens to be staying in a hotel is an illegal immigrant? You think this nonsense on SM is the work of 'leftists'? I can pretty much guarantee you, it isn't.

Because our government isn't doing anything about the boats.

Burnham doesn't care because he doesn't have to live next to an HMO.

Look up the recent thread on here about as poor woman whose street is full of HMOs and tell me what she should do?

The boats are falling steadily.

There is no excuse for the vile racism on display.

So what do you think that the person who has all those hmos on her street should do?

She is so desperate that she's thinking of leaving the country.

How is that possibly fair?

Don't you have any sympathy for her?

TankFlyBossW4lk · Today 21:00

Blame Farage, Tice and Lowe and all the other evil souls who are taking Russian money and calling the rest of us traitors.

They are tearing the country apart and colluding with foreign players who wish to see the demise of the UK.

RedThroatedWarbler · Today 21:01

MustTryHarderAndHarder · Today 20:34

So would you think she should do and what would you do in her situation?

On her last post she said she was thinking of leaving the country.

Should she have to leave?

That would be ironic. Hates immigrants, becomes one herself.

Perhaps you and she should try reading and watching a range of news sources so she understands that small boat crossings are substantially decreased year on year. Along with total net immigration decreasing and returns/deportation increasing.

No blame Burnham who' is doing nothing about the boats and hmos.

It is the ordinary black and brown people who have lived in the UK for generations that are suffering including my relatives.

Did you listen to shabbana Mahmoud when she said that she is fed up of of all the racism?

Burnham isn't suffering because he doesn't live next to an HMO and he is white.u

I hope that your street becomes full of hmos soon and then you can see how funny it is.

I hope the house next to you becomes an HMO very soon.

You idiot. She doesn't want to leave but she is being forced out.

I really hope that the house next to you becomes an HMO and then you can see how funny it is.

Yes, I'm sure sure it'll be fine now that the crossings are going down. I'm sure all the hmos will be made into family houses soon ,.

You have no idea what you were talking about and you have no right to say anything unless your street is full of hmos. Then you can comment.

Maybe blame the landlords of those HMO's? Serco, Clearsprings, Mears and the government who handed out those contracts.

There already is one on my street. It isn't quite next door, more like diagonally opposite. Never had an issue with them whatsoever.

Idk if many would want the same. Or Labour’s other method of housing 1000 plus men as per Piddington. Usually it’s for someone else to have nearby.

No, it's done to Burham. He doesn't care about the small boats because he is white and he doesn't live next to an HMO.

When he was asked about working class people complaining about hmos in their areas he didn't say he was going to do anything about it. All he said was that he is going to start putting them in middle-class areas too.

So watch out.

There are hundreds of hmos by me, but they’re all students. I wish we could send the buggers back to their parents, they’re a pain in the arse. I’d rather have asylum seekers.

Why watch out?

But don't be too smug because Burnham said he was going to put them in all areas including middle class areas because he hates middle-class people even more than he hates white working class people..

So even if the house next to you is too small, there will be some in your area soon and I hope that they cause the same sorts of trouble that they were causing the poor woman on the thread.

Ignore the jibes from below. If people want dispersal or mass accommodation nearby to them great. It’s helpful if it goes near those who prefer it.
