Just seen a video of a trans woman minding her business in a train station getting horribly bullied by some Tommy Robinson wanna-be and couldn't help but think back to all the aggressive threads I've seen on Mumsnet.

Pages and pages of vilifying innocent trans people, calling them perverts and all sorts with zero evidence of anything of the sort of course would lead to people like this harassing and attacking trans people in public. I've see a few of so-called GC brigade say 'this isn't what we wanted' but it is the end, isn't it? If you do see trans people as disgusting abusive perverts trying to sneak into your changing rooms and hurt your daughter, you'd want them to be bashed in public yeah?

Am I wrong to think their chickens are coming home to roost and certain posters will want to claim they never had a hand in it all?

We have TRA threatening women with rape, murder and violence for saying no. We have people calling for women to be “raped with a splintery rolling pin” for saying no. Where is your outrage on that? Where is your outrage at the “death to TERF” placards? Where is your outrage when women are raped in female prisons by men claiming to be women?

I see the issue and yes, some women feel threatened by trans women. But I have never considered toilets to be a safe space. I don't believe there are any safe spaces. Even in our homes we are not .' safe". I find any talk of safe spaces infantilism.

You might think that, but single sex toilets, changing rooms, domestic violence shelters, rape counselling, prisons, intimate care are very important to many women.

Are you going to tell them their concerns are ‘infantile’? Or that they shouldn’t stand up for their legal rights? Or that you don’t want to debate it so they shouldn’t stand just keep quiet and give the men what they want?

What's really interesting is you can sometimes almost copy and paste stuff from militant trans activists and without the context of where it came from, you'd struggle to tell it wasn't from an incel.

We are not allowed to call ourselves pro-women because that suggests the opposing views is anti-women.

Mumsnet is mostly women, but not all. I don’t have strong feelings either way. There are at least 2 men with direct personal investment as parents who post here. Their perspective on child transition issues can be valuable. That number I gave is the number of men posting as regulars. Not as “feminists”.

I have a good idea who most of the actual regulars are, as a FWR regular for the last decade, and good at pattern spotting with a pretty good memory, and I’m not particularly convinced you know any better @Moosli- I think you’re just trying to get digs in at FWR.
