This is some dystopian lord of the flies hell. Those poor women. Burned on the boat. Wth. Poor man stabbed to death. Why are the people that did this then going to be roaming free in the UK? Why are they allowed to enter the UK in the first place? Why are gangs not being 'smashed'?

I guess we should caveat if we are speculating. Like I was speculating based on the patchy information that the burns are accidental unless they are part of the criminal investigation about the stabbing as there’s no specific mention of the burns being investigated. I do know that friction burns from riding astride with say a nylon rope twisted around your leg or sitting to close to the outboard motor - these traffickers always overload the dinghies so it’s crowded and the motors overheat abd often break down.
