This is some dystopian lord of the flies hell. Those poor women. Burned on the boat. Wth. Poor man stabbed to death. Why are the people that did this then going to be roaming free in the UK? Why are they allowed to enter the UK in the first place? Why are gangs not being 'smashed'?

I have no idea, you would have to ask Him. He lived under Roman occupation and was put to death by them so I'm sure He understands the issues. We're supposed to love our enemies and not seek revenge though. The bible describes how having your country taken over by foreigners is a punishment for turning away from God. We've brought it on ourselves of course, not that God is actively seeking to punish us. The bible also acknowledges that people have their own nations. Personally, I believe that we'd be better placed to help struggling nations by remaining in a strong position ourself.

I'd also suggest that our countries are under demonic attack, but realise that no one outside of some Christianity will believe this and the suggestion will only attract ridicule. I'm Orthodox though, so the belief isn't a problem for me.

While "stats" can be manipulated to prove anything, I strongly suspect these particular ones may be skewed by the attitude of the police around reporting of child abuse by minorities (see Rotherham, etc)

If those reporting are ignored - or worse, don't report at all because they feel they'll be ignored - then it follows that a certain number will never make it into the stats at all

As a percentage of the UK population if all the boats were full of criminals (they are not) and if you say that the same rate went on for 10 years (it won't as it is decreasing, in fact falling so it is falling off a cliff) it would amount to 0.037143% of the uk population. So in other words 1/30th of 1 percent, if it continued. This is based on bang up to date figures from this week, the week the photo says it was taken (it wasnt its Ai generted) So is there a problem with unauthorised landings. Yes. It needs dealing with. Is it a massive problem that should be consuming all the energy in our political debate NO.

Now the real point behind this is to disrupt and divide the population. That is in our enemies and opponents intrests. When Russia decides to test NATO and it will, division between NATO allies may just lead to a weak un-unified response. When Trump imposes yet more tarrifs and restrictions perhaps every EU country will act individually all consumed by minor intrests such as immigration of 1/30 of 1 percent.

If it's such a divisive issue though, why let it go unchecked and give our enemies the propaganda ammo?
