for me it is people who dont say thank you when you step of the pavement into the road so that they can get past.
people who step on the back of your shoe and dont apologise.
and people who dont use caps correctly

Charity muggers, especially when they try some fucking irritating original way of getting your attention

Dawdlers

Our baby monitor, that for some reason can only make the connection to the other end the third time you switch it on and off (I threw it across the room the other day in a rage )

People who chew gum with their mouths open

Jeremy Vine

Meredith from Grey's Anatomy

Jeremy Paxman

Better stop there before I spill my whole personal hitlist!

moshie · 29/06/2008 14:41

ironing boards folded and leaned against a wall UPSIDE DOWN. Now that's irrational, but bugs me for some strange reason. It needs to be pointing down not up.

WorzselMummage · 29/06/2008 14:49

People who say 'arksed' instead of 'asked'

smartiejake · 29/06/2008 15:03

-People who talk with an upward inflection at the end of all their sentences which makes it sound like they are asking a question.
-People who say pacific, when they mean specific.
-Ferne Cotton
-Coat hangers for me too( bloody things always getting tangled up with each other)
-People who can't spell "definite" (definate)
-People who write signs for greengrocer's (spot the deliberate mistake)

meimango · 29/06/2008 15:29

electrical cables
brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

themoon66 · 29/06/2008 15:36

So pleased to see I'm not the only one who grinds her teeth at Meredith from Gray's Anatomy

SpookyMadMummy · 29/06/2008 15:58

When I ask Dh what he wants for dinner out of XXXX or XXXX and he says.......... whatever
Similarly when I ask him what are we going to do today or what do you want to watch on the TV.... theres a pattern here.

LittleMyDancing · 29/06/2008 17:25

oh themoon66, she's just so.......DRIPPY!

And irritating

And self obsessed

And vain

And useless

And why on earth did those two men fight over her?

Did you see Thursday's episode though.....had to laugh.....

WorzselMummage · 29/06/2008 17:37

Seriously, SERIOUSLY ?

babyignoramus · 29/06/2008 18:11

Repeating some, but

  1. people who empty the bin and don't put in a new bag - aaargh!
  1. people who say 'haitch' instead of aitch. And for that matter, newsreaders saying things like 'an historic event'
  1. Rogue apostophes
  1. People who stop at the top/bottom of escalators
  1. Rude customers. Especially the ones who moan because they're after something for nothing, never stopping to think that they might be getting someone in trouble.
  1. Nicolas Cage
ilovemydog · 29/06/2008 18:19

people who park in parent and children spaces who do not have children.

staffylover · 30/06/2008 09:45

People who park in disabled spaces and are not disabled!

quickdrawmcgraw · 01/07/2008 16:04

when people run out of breath before they've finished speaking and then try and finish the sentance without any breath so it comes out in a sort of wheeze.
It completely unnerves me.

People who stand chatting with their hands on their hips and make passing them impossible and are too rude to put their elbows in.

InLoveWithSweeneyTodd · 01/07/2008 16:11

1)ryanair.
2)ryanair.
3)ryanair.

ladystardust · 01/07/2008 16:17

People who don't say bless you when you sneeze.
People who sneeze.

BibiThree · 01/07/2008 16:17

Women refering to their husbands as their "hubby". I don't know why but that word makes me teeth itch

beaniesteve · 01/07/2008 16:20

People who steer wildly to the right in their cars and into the next lane when turning left (or vice versa when turning right) ... there's no need for it. You don't have to swing out to turn and it's something every driving instructor should be drumming into people's skulls. There's NO NEED and it is just such bad driving. Fine if you are a bus or a lorry but not for the average car. Next time you drive check out the cars infront of you and you'll see so many people doing it, perhaps you do it. It's SO wrong!

InLoveWithSweeneyTodd · 01/07/2008 16:20

people who sneeze or belch very noisily on purpose, i mean, you can tell they are making an effort to make it really explosive.
I cannot stand blokes who belch noisily, and find it so funny.

beaniesteve · 01/07/2008 16:21

Lol at Ladystardust. I really hate it when people say 'bless you' when people sneeze... WHY! what's the point, what does it mean even?

Fimbo · 01/07/2008 16:24

People who park on the pavement outside my front door which means I have to squeeze past to get to the front door - the joys of a new build!

McDreamy · 01/07/2008 16:26

I really hate ordering a baked potato and being served a microwaved on - yuk!

happynappies · 01/07/2008 16:30

Here goes:

People who park in P&T spaces with no baby/toddler in tow.

People who say 'smile!'

People who say "Its alright - he won't hurt you" as they walk past you and your toddler with a dog the size of a horse.

People who say pacific when they mean specific.

People who don't know the difference between bought and brought ("I was bought up...")

People who stand in the middle of the pavement you while you're pushing a heavy pram and have built up some momentum.

People who ask if you want a drink at a party then forget.

People who make assumptions.

People who don't think before they think.

People who say that football is just eleven men kicking a hunk of leather about.

love2sleep · 01/07/2008 16:32

people who write times in my diary without explaining what is supposed to be happening at that time.

Oh arse, that must have been me.
