for me it is people who dont say thank you when you step of the pavement into the road so that they can get past.

People who cant get thro the gears on their car, ie take ages accellerating and then still bl drive like a snail.

juneybean · 12/07/2008 22:39

LEM - the dogs get fed before the humans in our house

When people overstay their welcome!

deeeja · 12/07/2008 22:49

Neighbours who leave their rubbish outside their house, but nearer to you house than their own.
People who insist on phoning every hour, when you see them every bloody day. i.e. mil.
When I am on the phone to someone, and they stop because they just have to take a call on their mobile, so rude!
People how say 'have you lost weight?' and think I should take it as a compliment.
People who tell me I don't look 41, how does a 41 year old look? I don't know anyone of 41 who looks like a pensioner yet.
Bloody staff in Sainsbury's who wouldn't let me pay at customer services desk when my ds who has as was kicking off and spitting at other customers/punching me. Why do they have a till there then?

ScottishMummy · 12/07/2008 22:53

spitting

shybaby · 12/07/2008 23:22

There's a woman I see almost every morning on the run to a neighbouring school. She wears her hair up in a white scrunchy in a half pony on the side. In three years she has NEVER styled her hair differently. It irritates me beyond belief, she is in her mid thirties. I once went out with a friend to discover she was a friend of my friend, came out with us and STILL had the same hairdo for a wine bar. (to be fair she was nice but still just as irritating im person). Totally irrational but I would LOVE to tear that scrunchy out.

Not so irrational: People who can see you are out shopping with a four year old and bustle/push hurriedly in front of you so the hand-child link is broken. Said child is wandering off towards the road and they wont get out of the sodding way to let you catch up...why do people do this ffs?

Flashman · 13/07/2008 00:10

People who don't actually read what you have written, but still come wading in!

ScottishMummy · 13/07/2008 00:17

expatinscotland · 13/07/2008 00:32

Beyond dumb ass hokey crock of shit films like 'Love Actually'.

Do chicks really dig sad shit like this?

Flashman · 13/07/2008 00:38

Expat - they must do - i really can't see many chaps going off to watch it

expatinscotland · 13/07/2008 00:42

these films just make me want to kick something, like one of the girls' cuddlies.

i don't know why, but i hate them and always have, almost as much as i abhor monkeys.

i made DH put it on Alien Resurrection.

expatinscotland · 13/07/2008 00:44

DD1 is already showing a prediliction for chick shit like this.

it's most worrisome.

she even sighs, 'aw' when shite like that is on and i have to bite my tongue.

she cried in 'ice age'.

thumbwitch · 13/07/2008 00:52

VintageGardenia - sorry, only just re-found this thread - for me, the paper has to hang down the front, not down the back. Can't answer for Bowddee!

Agree with Flashman about people not reading what has actually been written in the posts; also people who insist on taking sides in a different argument than the topic of the thread (that might not make much sense..)

deeeja · 13/07/2008 01:10

Asian women who dye their hair blond -IT DOES NOT LOOK NATURAL! I am Indian, incase this upsets anyone. Even worse are blond highlights.....ugh!
Women pushng buggies while wearing high heels, especially when they can't walk in them very well.
People who play gangsta rap for a children's party for games such as musical statues and pass the parcel......why?

bearmama · 13/07/2008 14:33

Hollyoaks

brightongirldownunder · 13/07/2008 14:48

Spam

pagwatch · 13/07/2008 14:57

people who put on their hazzard warning lights and think it allows them to park illegally

adverts for Injury Lawyers For You ( ambulance chasing wankers - and you know you are or you wouldn't have to include the line " they are all real lawyers")

People wearing mini mini skirts, camisoles and furry boots

People who aske loudly about books for their child with a much more complicated text because " although Cassandra is only two she is waaay beyond Proust and we need something more challenging". Love that as I am rumaging through picture books for my 11 year old....

People who push past my son in queues and then tut at him because he is 15 and all teenagers should just fuck off really.

pagwatch · 13/07/2008 14:58

And Dwain Chambers

and Paris Hilton

Flashman · 13/07/2008 19:52

babyelephant · 13/07/2008 22:32

The fact that, in Coronation St, the toilets in the Rovers would actually lead to the ginnel.

The fact that the size of the Rovers back yard increased by 50%.

The odd sleeping arrangements in the Rovers - it looks like a 2 bed upstairs so that's:
1 room for Liz/Vern
1 room for Steve/Michelle
Where's Amy and Ryan sleep?? Even as a 3 bed that's one less than is needed

Also when Jason moved in with Sarah at the Platt's - it's a 3 bed house so that's:
1 room for Gail
1 for David and er,
1 for Sarah, Jason and Bethany (aged 7?) to share

Stairs in the Peacock's house mysteriously moving from the left to the right side of the house. How'd that happen, then.

AND FINALLY. When the hecky pecky did the FACTORY get enormous, with an upstairs and everything - with no mention of expansion? It was tiny one day, then massive the next!
