To love Meghan and Harry but think they need to let us see the kids?

I'm no Meghan hater, but, if youre coming back to the uk and royal life, I do think the kids need to be shown.

Just like i like seeing Louis and the others, theyve got little personalities we want to see 🤷‍♀️

If H & M published photos of their children and it was later announced that RAVEC had granted them taxpayer-funded security, the British public would be complaining that H&M had forced RAVEC into providing security by identifying their children

I'm no fan of H&M at all but I fully respect their decision not to release photos and just wish that they would be as circumspect with the other areas of their lives . . .

But they opted out of the royal family so to all intents and purposes they’re private citizens.

And yet you don’t get why they would want to shield their kids?

To be fair to you it’s not so much that you’re being weird with this specific request. The whole institution of the royals and the way people fawn over them in this day and age is weird. And this is just a continuation of that. Why are people groomed to think this family is so special and superior? It’s all bonkers.

I hope they protect their kids faces. Kids are too young to consent to this.

He's not wrong. The only reason he would even need security is because he was born into royalty. As a child he wasn't even allowed to grieve the loss of his mum in private.

Tax payers have provided security for a bunch of men who have raped people including children while they were MPs.

The Royals aren't fully tax payers funded either so when it was stated it's a family matter then it sounds like the Royal estate will pay for their security.

@hotmumshit but can you recognise that some people might view your interest in their children as unjustified and intrusive? You think you have a right to access their children’s lives because they are royals and you feel that you are somehow owed that level of access. Because of your taxpayers money, like it’s pay for access.

One of the things (there are many) that I really despise about the monarchy is the expectation that the RF's children are paraded about in public...starting from when they are babies a few hours old, and culminating in things like the spectacle of the very young William and Harry following their mother's coffin at her funeral.

The idea that the children are public property is something I find really nauseating. This idea is apparent in the resentment directed at Harry & Meghan for their decision to protect their own children from it.

How did you watch William and Harry grow up if you were born in the early 90s? By the time you knew what you were looking at, they were young men.
