This house fire may be linked to criminal activities at the weekend, where the policemen were killed.

Just before the crash on Saturday somebody's house had been rammed with a vehicle doing extensive damage to the house? They set out in their car trying to find them and retaliate.

It said it's happened to other houses as well?

Is this all linked to drugs?

It's horrible. Where's it going to end? Why would you want to be mixed up in all that?

The rammed house was the house of the father of one of the dead boys. They have arrested about 17 people in relation to the incident, so added to the 5 dead thats an awful lot of people for it not to be gang related.

There is a lot of county lines stuff round there, it goes down in to North Yorkshire too.
I expect, in Line of Duty lingo, there is a massive OCG and they are all fighting and settling scores with one another.

It was absolutely related, the house was rammed and one of the residents of the house chased the car that had crashed into the house, and was one of the 5 killed.

One house was rammed that was the father to one of the boys that was killed in the crash, even if it was linked assuming right now is how rumours go around and it creates so much diverse. A lot of county lines are happening around these places, I only live half an hour away, we have a lot of it in the village I'm living in, I get so scared for my boys as two are teenagers and can be easily led, I keep telling them to not listen and tell me if they ever get asked or pressured into doing these awful things.

The police wouldn't say that without good reason.

I feel sorry for the police having to deal with morons knowing the Hone Office and CPS will just let them all off.

That area has always (and will always be) incredibly rough. I used to live in an area which required me to drive near the area often and I always refused to drive through this area of Middlesbrough and joked (I think) that if I ever stopped my wheels would be stolen. The families of the lads who died are all ‘wrongens’ so I cannot say I would be surprised at them being linked. Forgetting all the gang wars etc for a minute the families have annoyed a lot of people by constantly posting that the police are to blame for the deaths and then they organised a gathering for one of the deaths and encouraged people to arrive on illegal vehicles and cause even more trouble

With any luck they’ll all manage to wipe each other out. Unfortunately the chances are innocent people will get hurt in the crossfire.

That's impossible. It's a hugely lucrative market seemingly with no limit and the drugs are used by people in walks of life.

It’s awful. I live not far away from there and it’s putting the area in such a bad light.

They'd still be alive if they hadn't been doing whatever they were doing that caused the police to be after them in the first place. Or If they'd just stopped when signalled to do so by the police.

I don't blame you. One of my SIL got in with a "bad crowd" at school, and even though her parents were law-abiding and supportive (all the other kids went to a different school and have good lives, with no criminal record now), she got into situations. We shouldn't always blame the parents, because it's your kid's friends' parents that can be the problem, even if you're a great mum.
What's the solution, when criminals keep on having more kids and bringing them up as criminals? I don't know-people wouldn't want a country where only law-abiding, caring people are allowed to have babies.
