Yes, there's a definite rise in male posters starting threads about their unreasonable wives and partners. It's come from somewhere.
It's not a designated female only place and we'd have to give up our anonymity if we wanted to try to make it one, so it's all within rules and so on. And on the one hand I don't have an issue with men also wanting to participate in a parenting/lifestyle forum (it's not mine to decide anyway) and I know some male posters who just post like normal people and all that.
It does feel like there's been some kind of organised campaign somewhere though, and unfortunately men do seem to take over spaces when they enter them so I'm unsure what this means long term. We also definitely have a cohort of MRAs pretending to be women.
There are a couple of newish male posters I can think of who have been abandoned by their wives to be single parents, a very common theme among women on here, but they have no interest in seeking advice, support or solidarity; their sole MO is to use their backgrounds (assuming they're true, of course) to state that women are just as bad as men, men are such victims, and on occasion to attack other posters with misogynistic slurs.
Apologies to the ones who I know aren't like this, but it really does feel that many of them are only really here to complain about it being female oriented and accuse it of moral degeneracy because it reflects its demographic and isn't perfectly just in all things. Like the wonderfully egalitarian Reddit and manosphere, you know...
