That really. I mean it's not like they are loved here whether it comes to family or the public. I think Harry might genuinly want to live in England whereas his wife is looking for the attention and money.

Over 40% divorce rate in both UK and USA. Plus, it's in the family (parents on both sides), and his wife is already a divorcee. It is not an unfair speculation.

It is hard to see how he can retract all the nasty ( but maybe true ) things he has said publicly about his family . Camilla now knows how he feels about her , nobody wants to be called evil. He has accused his brother of hitting him, revealed the bridesmaid disagreement. Meghan in interviews has been lying , disrespectful even of the Queen.

To be fair , Meghan had no idea what was expected of her or the protocols . Unlike Catherine who had years to learn and knew what the RF had been like .

I don't know how Meghan will acclimate herself this time . Previously she had great goodwill as a breath of fresh air in the RF . Her subsequent behavior, failed money making schemes and total indiscretion has made her look so bad . In the PR business of the RF perception is everything.

I guess any Megxit deal can be altered by Charles . I had thought that they rejected titles for themselves and their kids . They probably should look to Edward who is the Kings brother as the way to conduct themselves .

They want to send the kids to school here and have at least some relationship with their family. I don't think it's any deeper than that. US education system is really not great.

They do, and they made a big deal last time about how Meghan was following the usual visa rules, but the income rule can be replaced by savings.

I understand why people like them but I struggle to understand why people who liked H and M, and loathe the 'hate' that they receive, then hate on William and Kate. Kate has had cancer and had to undergo treatment in the public eye. She's hardly lazy or entitled. It takes away from the narrative that posters are standing up women and hate the negative media when they are happy to shoot Kate down.

I'm sure that they weren't looking at local state schools. They were in one of richest areas of California which is one of the richest states in the US. I'm confident that there would be top notch schools given their wealth. Perhaps it is to do with wanting a relationship with their family. Clearly though that hasn't been a major priority over the last few years as they haven't visited often. Judging by his book, Harry doesn't feel particularly close to his family and seems estranged from William. Then of course there's Doria who may not travel with them. Connecting with some family will unfortunately result in losses in other family relationships.

I actually think she will. Maybe not the gigs Catherine gets, more celebrity type ones.
Companies will still need a ‘face’ to promote something and as MM heads for 50 I am sure she will earn a few quid paid by someone.
Also, freebies galore.
Like them or loathe them, Harry is still the King’s son, as well as the son of Princess Diana. When the kids go to school I am sure she will get involved on some level. A Diana school mum race recreation?
At the end of the day this pair need to make big money. They don’t stick at much, chop and change, no real strategy.
I still the damage they did was huge. I don’t think William will ever tolerate them.
But I can definitely see MM launch a ‘my life in the Cotswolds’ Holly Willoughby-type channel. The children can be Prince and Princess in a country where it has meaning still to some.
I think for many Royal watchers, next year will be poignant. If these two align themselves with Charles Spencer and tap into the Diana mood, I can imagine there will be projects and chances to earn.
But I do get your point. She’s not going to be on a balcony or at a Royal Garden party.

If I was Meghan I would not be up for this. Not one bit. She gets to live pretty anonymously in the insanely beautiful ‘American Riviera’. It fits her vibe perfectly. The reason for coming back must be pretty catastrophic. Me thinks money must be running very dry. Why would you come back

I can see her doing a series called "tea time at rose cottage" or some shit where she wafts around in tweeds and laura Ashley bo peep getups, learning to spot grouse and make yorkshire puddings, having all sorts of "teeheehee isnt it funny how many cultural differences there are between the US/UK?" moments, a series aimed at American audiences

Or something super deferential where she tries to win back the hearts of the British public by touring Britain having solemn moments where experts teach her about cultural significant landmarks etc
