That really. I mean it's not like they are loved here whether it comes to family or the public. I think Harry might genuinly want to live in England whereas his wife is looking for the attention and money.

This is exactly the reason H&M have no brand left, no money and no selling power. They've become a polarising trip switch that causes regular people to get angry and hostile against other people. They cannot do anything without starting an enormous debate that results in strangers insulting and accusing other strangers of being racist, bitter, hateful etc. It's extremely toxic and their brand always causes mob behaviour amongst regular people.

Take these threads for example. Nobody likes being accused of being a racist when they know they're not, but H&M have set up the stage so that any criticism of them equates to racism. There is no nuance allowed. The comment above is another good example of how H&M triggers a stranger to indulge in hateful schadenfreude against other strangers without it actually being connected to any facts or real life events.

In the end nobody knows them as people or what their true motives are. But they've consciously built up a brand that's designed to polarise the public and pit people against each other. Plus they made enemies with the press who earn lots of ad revenue through drama and are absolutely incentivised to keep the drama going. There is absolutely no going back from the toxic brand they created because it's already taken on a life on its own.

I have a feeling they won’t be able to win though. If they try and stay out of the spotlight (for lack of a better word) the ‘bitchy faction’ will say they’re not trying to make amends, they’re aloof, Meghan is arrogant etc.

Whereas if they do try and do things it’ll be they're ‘pushing themselves to the forefront’, Meghan is trying to ‘outdo Kate’ etc.

When I say needing cash I mean in a rich people way. A maintaining their current or wanted life style not actually the cash is running out about to be homeless situation.

I mean a my 20 bed house will have to be downsized to a 10 bed house skint type of thing.

This. I know people with such strong feelings of hate towards them yet they don’t know them and have never met them. It’s odd.

They’d have to have a house in the UK though and I doubt it would be massively cheaper.

Yes exactly. It originally sounded like a personal decision and possibly what he discussed with Charles on the recent visit but press are reporting that Charles, W&K only found out a few days ago?! So they planned it all in secret and dropped the bomb on the family just like their departure? It also suggests maybe Charle's health isn't taking a turn for the worse and he wanted Harry back.

It sounds more like running away for reasons unknown. That would make more sense why Meghan is coming with, which on the surface goes against all logical reasons. As many have said, there is no way they can rehabilitate her image in the British press and there aren't as many business opportunities for her compared to Hollywood.

You can speculate all you like ultimately unless they say why you don't know.

The world changes, cirumstsnces chnage, other people's circumstances change, as a person you are hopefully continually learning and growing no matter your matter. Those things can then have weight to your decisions. So good luck to them.

Maybe Charles agreed to take the financial hit in return for seeing his grandchildren.

He has to pay £18 million for failed legal battle, so must be short of money. However, I don't see how coming home would help. As regards his security, his dad must be paying from his own private wealth. Certainly, he ought to pay. He chose to have another chid when he already had an heir, thus putting Harry and his famiy in a position where security is needed. Moral obligation.

I would! I love my house even if it is crumbly...England too.

I suspect Harry probably feels more at home in England. Meghan probably not so much, but then she has a history of enjoying hanging out in London, so maybe she'll be OK with some of the year here at least.

They're paying for their house themselves not living in one of the Royal ones. Odd that people seem unhappier about these two than the rest of them, who do all get multiple houses, servants and the rest.
