What’s With Cillian Murphy? AIBU?

So last night, I was watching TV.

Family piled on the sofa. Kids… dogs… we were laughing and chatting and generally enjoying the craic. Also in the room, just out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Cillian Murphy. He was steadily working through a pile of ironing which had accumulated in the hot weather cause it was too hot to tackle right? He was smiling. Joining in the banter. He joined us on the sofa and then ordered a Deliveroo. Which was proper nice of him cause I was feeling a bit peckish.

AIBU to have wanted this scenario to have played out before my dog woke me? She likes to get up onto the bed round about 7am. Would have been nice to have seen what Cillian ordered 😐

Yes you’re unreasonable. Get up and go walk the dog.
No. It was lovely of Cillian to wade through your ironing pile and order snacks but did he pay?

Oh no, @Vroomfondleswaistcoat you don't want Tom H to get into your kitchen. Did you not see the unsettling advert he did where he made food for the viewer, in a slightly overbearing and too-earnest way?

Tom H is probably best as a dog walker, burn off all that enthusiasm and energy.

You take that back! I won't hear a word against him! He doesn't have to cook for me, he can do a spot of flower arranging if he likes but that's going to be hard, what with the need to sway back and forth all the time.

To be honest he can just stand there if he wants. I just want to stare at him. Although the bloody dog bites so she might not let him in at all. Hm. Need to think about this.

George Clooney and I have had a thing going for years. Used to drive my ExH round the bend. George would just show up when he felt like it, hang out. Always mooching if I’d cooked steak pie (a particular favourite of his). Ex was pissed that he’d just invite himself. My friends were all like “you DO realise who that IS?!”
“Yeah, I know. We’ve known each other years. Never anything between us. Just friends”. After he met Amal, he didn’t get up to Wigan much. She didn’t like it. Very insecure, she was, for such a highly educated woman. I mean, she was nowt to look at, in the flesh.

🤣🤣

He could have ironed the note before he gave it to you. Disappointing let down from Cillian.

That was ironed. Just shows how rubbish he just at ironing.
John Cena would've steamed it into a neat folded square.
Steven Seagal would've origami folded it. I'd have shouted " Oi. Seagal. No!"
And have to get John Cena to get the ironing board out AGAIN which he would do without tutting .

Whoa!!!! @70isaLimitNotaTarget Did you just invite Steven Segal into my subconscious? Christ, that’s going to take some serious mind control to evict him!

Sorry @Vroomfondleswaistcoat although I suppose it means you won't have to fight me for the chance to have Tom H sway in the kitchen.

All these troublesome dogs ruining the domestic chores of famous men. Could you put Tom H in the garden to sway and keep your dog in the house with you? You could both watch him through the window. Although not sure if that then becomes creepy.

Don't worry about Steven Seagal, just show him some injustice going on or a bloke being nasty to an animal and he'll go into gear. ( Can you tell I am subjected to far too many ex martial arts/ wrestler turned actor films here !?)

John Cena will evict him, but then he comes back to my dreams.😉

She will fetch items which are of absolutely no use to me and well.. that’ll do dog… that’ll do.

Oh! ❤❤❤

Watching Tom Hardy on screen I wondered what all the fuss was about, he left me cold. Then I had a dream ... what occurred in that dream took place at my then husband's side of the bed, which was something that never could have occurred with said then husband. I was a tad more enthusiastic for the next episode.

Last night I dreamt of Mr Menno (not in a rude way!!). Oh, how my world has changed 😅

Is this meant to be funny? Because it’s not.

I totally disagree. It takes a lot to make me laugh and I'm sitting here in having a sneaky duke at Mumsnet and am sniggering away. The man beside must think I'm very odd.

I had a sexy dream about, ironically considering my user name, Noah Wyle. It wasn’t that sexy, despite NW being a really lovely bloke. I would have preferred one about Shawn coming round to mow my lawn and having to remove his shirt because of the heat.

OMG I want a sexy dream about Noah. I have loved him since ER.

Im a teacher and annoyingly I had the most horrible, nasty, devious student last year - his name was Noah.

What and miss out on my incredible cheese sandwich? No, Tom can stay and sway. The dog can stand in the garden and bark through the window.

I don't have an ironing pile, barely anything needs ironing, does he dust?

🤔 I’d say so. Pretty versatile these thespian types. He can “pretend” to dust I’d say. Role play… method acting. Feather duster… blowing away the cobwebs.

If you’re wanting full hardcore “top & bottoming” as my mum used to describe it, I’d try to conjure Chris Hemsworth or Idris Elba. I know Idris. He’s well down to earth and willing to get stuck in to a task.
