AIBU to think if we need to politely ask men not to rape women (or men), then we don't want such people in the UK?

Don't rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises' at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK
UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.

Has anybody posted news of these lovely, vulnerable asylum seekers attacking French police. Police were trying stop a small boat from leaving to get to us. Yes, these poor men fleeing persecution, who so many daft women want to welcome with open arms.

Saw the headline and brief clip. Couldn't face watching or reading. Same old shit.

Better brace yourself, someone will be along soon to claim they are traumatised and it’s understandable they’re behaving this way. They’re fleeing for their lives after all.

Tbf I think the whole system is nuts. We ask the French to get into stuff like this on their beaches whilst we do the opposite on the other side.

On one hand it’s batons and tear gas, on the other it’s taxi boats and accommodation.

The situation is so muddled and inconsistent it’s bizarre at this point. People who want to welcome refugees here probably don’t mind the French doing that and post figures when numbers are down.

Just a crazy system that will be further strained as more people move.

It's so great that so many people care about women and girls, you can donate to Refuge here:
https://refuge.org.uk/i-want-to-support-refuge/donate/
Or at least have a read of the facts. Because otherwise you're a hypocrite, aren't you?

Before you say "we don't need more", your reasoning would also mean that we don't need more of our own, correct? So we're going to need to stop allowing boys to be born in the UK.

Yes, Macron told us some while ago that the reason we get all these males trying to get into the UK from France is because of the pull factors: food, clothes, doctors on demand, accommodation, activist lawyers, granting LTR at double the rate of France, endless appeals, the possibility of disappearing into the grey economy in the unlikely event that their asylum claim is rejected.

Truly pathetic.

Here we have a nice bit of emotional guilt tripping. So if you don't donate to Refuge and you're pushing back against illegal immigration, you're a hypocrite. What about those who donate AND acknowledge there is a big problem with DV? Once again, the law on SA is unambiguous and protects women and girls from sexual assault. The men born here are subject to that. The men coming here not only don't give a stuff about our laws but we KNOW their culture classes women as second class citizens.

And slightly further afield, this man has needs, you know.

I don't think a leaflet is going to change the attitudes of men like this.
Coming soon to a rural village near you.

Yes, the government's pathetic 'don't rape the locals' leaflet is an acknowledgement that importing large numbers of males from incompatible countries might be a bit of a problem. Something they've always denied up to now.

The present situation is playing fast and loose with the safety of the British people, mainly women and children, but also men (an elderly man was sexually assaulted by an Afghan asylum seeker in Leicester recently, according to the BBC). How much more of this do we have to put up with?

Anyone saying this earlier was gaslit and had abuse hurled their way, now it’s a Labour leaflet

This lovely man is on his way to enrich Edinburgh! Although his interests are somewhat limited to "fucking", according to the man himself.

We're stuck with "our own", and they rape less anyway.
I see no need for more men, from cultures that have much worse attitudes towards towards women.
Why do you want them here?

Has the OP actually read the whole pamphlet? Has anyone read it before commenting? Judging by the ignorant comments, I don't believe anyone has.

Critical thinking is everything when the media are stirring things up.

All cultures are not compatible, its as simple as that.

Forced mixing only brings problems and risk

What critical thinking? It takes less time to analyse that pamphlet than a paragraph from my 14 year old’s English Lit texts.

I recently read a book by Zahra Joya, a journalist from Afghanistan who has leave to remain in the UK.

She came after the Taliban took control again in 2021. You'll remember that there were people desperate to get out of Afghanistan because they were in certain jobs or had been assisting the Western troops there.

Well those same people who were staying in hotels in London were abusing their women, calling them whores for not wearing headgear and were surprised when the police took action when they abused Afghan women in the same hotel.

That isn't a right wing publication, that's a book by an Afghan woman living in the UK.

They think women are nothing. Obviously there's the oddballs who think elderly men are there for raping too!

5MinuteArgument · Yesterday 16:14

Menopausalsourpuss · Yesterday 10:47

This whole leaflet is pathetic. I can guarantee it won't be used to stop rapists saying they didn't know the law as they will just pretend they couldn't speak English so didn't understand it. Even if its translated into multiple languages they'll pretend they can't read. Other countries have no trouble protecting their borders and don't provide hotels etc. What the f is wrong with our leaders, judiciary etc?

Edited

Yes, so many of our institutions have been infected by a 'progressive' mentality where we always prioritise the needs of others and our own people can go to hell.

Our government needs to follow the lead of places like Denmark and take a much, much tougher line. Otherwise the anger towards this racket will just grow.

Sooo 74% were British nationals?
yeah sounds like an immigration issue…

26%...over a quarter were committed by people from abroad and you try to gaslight the situation. Really

I don't think maths is @Leapintothelightning's strong point.

firef1y · Yesterday 16:25

Perfectly right, but seeing as the vast, vast majority of rapes and sexual abuse are committed by white men, let's just lock all men up.

Don't rape children? You think your ever day British bloke needs to be guided not to rape children?

Pretty sure Jummy Saville and Gary Glitter were British nationals
