Just out shopping in Aldi today and a woman (older) and husband shopping, she had her bikini bottoms on and a sort of short cover up
top (not covering her bum)
Aibu to not really want to be near this whilst reaching for my cheese?

I personally think it's really sad that it's become so accepted to dress-down and dress inappropriately for occasions. It's become so accepted to wear swimwear and gym wear outside the beach and gym, and if you dare to indicate that this type of dress isn't appropriate in public you'll be told to "stop looking", woman-shaming/body-shaming, being controlling, etc.

Unless people gauge their eyes out, they are forced to look at other people they encounter in public. Even one millisecond is a look. You can't seriously ask people to walk around with blindfolds on in public in order to appease those dressing wrongly. Just like I can't start robbing people and tell them, "well, the problem isn't that I rob you - the problem is that carry your belongings with you. You should stop do that, because I'm not going to stop robbing you, and it's controlling of you to try and stop me".

There's a time and a place for everything, including various types of dress - or undress. Would you think it's normal if your colleague turned up to work in a wedding gown and veil? Or in a clown costume?

I personally think we should demand more decorum of one another.

Hubster went to Janesburys yesterday, and when trying to find our favourite wine was terribly distracted. There were ladies of all ages there very scantily clad.

He couldn’t find what he was looking for, got embarrassed and ended up with a Semillon.

I live by the sea, hate summer when everyone suddenly thinks it's perfectly acceptable to strut around the tiny supermarket in basically their undercrackers. It's unhygienic, mostly unsightly & something that just shouldn't happen.

Well was her bum out as in it was a thong bikini or out as in she had pants covering her bum but nothing covering the pants? It's no different arguably than walking alone the seafront like that

I agree some women in this weather dress badly. Working in a supermarket I saw it all.

. Strapless tops or dresses with a completely different colour strapped bra
. Low cut tops with top of the bra (again different colour to top) poking through the top.
. Wearing bras like they are bikini tops. Mainly a teen girl thing. You can tell the difference between a bra and a bikini top.
. Wearing short shorts, dress or skirt and the tampon string hangs below. That is gross
. Backless dress with a strapped bra

Its very different walking along the seafront on the beach in your bikini bottoms, to pushing a trolley around a crowded Aldi and leaning over bending over to reach the ham and cheese, surely?!

Bare feet are nowhere near as bad
