Sabrina Carpenter. I get the impression she thinks she’s 20 times hotter than she actually is. She over sexualises herself in a very tacky and desperate way. The album cover of her on all-fours in front of a man’s crotch while he grips her hair… Her performances on stage when she bends over in between 2 male dancers to demonstrate the spit roasting position… The haircare commercial “I’m Sabrina Carpenter, and I know a thing or two about a great bang” 🙄 Give it a rest already.

I find the faux sensual act she does uncomfortable to watch because she’s so tiny (4’11) and looks like a teenage girl playing dress up with 20lbs of makeup.

Louis Theroux - and several other privileged poshos who’s work I quite like, but on a personal level, find their over confident manner and wet accents jarring.

I don't get "bitch" vibes from Rihanna in the slightest.

My two are Tom Hanks and Ricky Gervais. His jokes about sick children actually made me turn his stand-up off a few years ago. I caught some of the office a few months ago as well and it hasn't aged well in the slightest. I think he has a real nasty streak about him. Hanks creeps me out. Not keen on Emily Blunt either.

This sounds so miserable! I do have celebs I love who are extraordinarily talented!

Gervais was mocking the celebrity audience for their hypocrisy on issues like lecturing on the environment while using private jets and acting as authorities on political issues they had no real expertise on.
It was Gervais last time presenting the Golden Globes and he didn't hold back. But the face on Hanks, to me, showed a different side of him.
If you haven't seen the monologue it's well worth a watch.

I thought Tom Hanks did like Ricky Gervais because RG was rude about Tim Allen, his Toy Story co star.

Didn't her husband die relatively recently? Might explain her reported grumpiness.

I wouldn't like Tony Robinson. Sad because I love his programmes.

She was on DID & talked about her ex husband, now deceased. She was very emotional about him & they were friends at the time of his death. She was also very cheerful & funny in the other bits

Friend of a friend's daughter went out with home for a while and said he was amazing; really lovely, polite, considerate etc. The mother adored him and was devastated when they split.

Suki Waterhouse? I have a pic of them in LPM restaurant in London from about 15 years ago (they were with Noel Gallagher and Sara McDonald, randomly). He seemed nice but he wore a baseball cap to dinner and at the time anyway it wasn’t the sort of place where one wore a baseball cap.

I have so much respect for Samantha Morton. I would love to meet her

Prue Leith.

Oh yes and her vile Reform son, who I have unfortunately met.

Alan Cumming. I hate that little prick.

Tom Hanks is known for being very upright and earnest though, isnt he.

My impression was of someone

  1. has no sense of humor
  2. thinks being an A list actor makes him a far superior being to the ordinary Joe public.

I liked him up to then and he made great movies but I don't think he is someone I would like if I met him.

Oh no. Being fair, she does seem quite reform supporter herself. Can't stand her, looking forward to nigella!

I dont think Ricky Gervais is all that funny tbh. And I dont mean that in a ' oh im so disgusted' way. I literally dont find him very funny.

In his early films, like the Burbs, ge comes across as kind of cheeky and like he'd be fun......maybe he just got more serious as he got more well kmown and successful. He's kind of Hollywood royalty now isnt he.

Off topic, but is Nigella going to do Bake Off?!

Also, Id like to add Tyra Banks and the Js etc on America's Next Top Model, because I'm watching the Netflix programme on it now and them trying to deflect and excuse the show is sickening

Keith Allen seems scary.
Lily is probably a chip off the old block!

My DH’s ex worked as a dresser at the National Theatre in the early 90s. Keith was doing a play there and allegedly tried to bribe her to say his Willy was massive.
it wasn’t. again, allegedly

Yes, same here. She could easily have ended up in prison or dead.

The Beckhams

Knew it wouldn't be long before someone said the Beckham's.
I used to know Victoria a bit (through the kids) and she was lovely. Very humble and very hands on.

ShakyBake · 05/08/2026 22:47

Prince Charles without a doubt.
