Solidarity @BerryTwister 💐 - you did the right thing for survival. How do you feel now? Completely agree, you really dont know how youll react until youre there, because its such an awful thing!
I was laying in bed, pregnant with dd, shortly after I found out she was a girl. Shes 7 now, and I was about 27 then. A memory came to me

I was a teen, about 15 or 16 and a man was trying to rape me. I am autistic and was so fucking vulnerable and alone, it was a joke. He must've been 30.
Anyway, i tried fighting him off. Thats what I meant when I responded upthread about the sheer surprise as to how much stronger men are than us. I pushed and said 'no'.
I said 'you are raping me. I want to go, you are about to rape me'
He said, 'if i wanted to fuck you, i could. Do you know that?' And i meekly responded yes, and he let me go and I left and went home.

I feel so angry, but most of all - like how did I get there?! Now, at almost 35, i know what a man inviting me to his house means. I didnt understand that at 15.
I need to learn to fight - i think it'll make me feel better honestly
