AIBU - sexist Mail Online coverage about Hannah Waddingham - by a woman?

I have just seen an article on the Mail Online (no comments about being unreasonable reading it, thank you). The article is about Hannah Waddingham appearing at the Ted Lasso S4 premiere. The comments include:

Leggy Hannah Waddingham ....
Hannah put her toned and tanned pins on display
Hannah cosied up to her boyfriend (this is a regular boring phrase they use)
The blonde bombshell ....

Looking at the picture of her and her partner his legs are longer than hers. I can't find a description of Leggy Nick, however hard I look.

For the love of God, we are not in the 1970s.

This is written by a woman, who graduated with a 2:1 in journalism in 2015, so I guess she is about my own age (born 1993). I would be ashamed to write such rubbish.

Leggy, tanned and toned, I can’t imagine she’s too offended about being called any of these things. I wouldn’t be.

There was a horrible thread on here about her. I think she's stunning.
But yes, agree with the odd old fashioned comments in the mail.

The Mail is obsessed with women's bodies, always chelping on about side boob, under boob, toned abs, long tresses, it's sickening.
Women being reduced to body parts really pees me off.

The Mail have a pattern of targeting strong women. The phrases they use are so old fashioned, it’s obviously appealing to the misogynist demographic who still remember Page 3 etc.
They seem to have a glossary of phrases to use, and I visit the online page every now and again to play bingo - see how many I can spot.

You looked at the sidebar of shame and are surprised it's like this?

You know that the Fail is the only UK newspaper who has a majority of readers who are female right?

And as such articles aren't written for male readers primarily.

It's an old fashioned women's mag with news articles in.

The female writers are writing for a female audience.

NOW reflect on the language in the context of this.

So many people really don't fully understand this.

Yes, women can be misogynistic and often are.
You shouldn't be surprised by that. The problem lies with society, not just with men.

Also, although you don't want comments about your questionable reading choices, you are paying that journalist's salary with your clicks.
If you don't like what they write (,and you really shouldn't) stop actively supporting them.
