I have just seen an article on the Mail Online (no comments about being unreasonable reading it, thank you). The article is about Hannah Waddingham appearing at the Ted Lasso S4 premiere. The comments include:

Leggy Hannah Waddingham ....
Hannah put her toned and tanned pins on display
Hannah cosied up to her boyfriend (this is a regular boring phrase they use)
The blonde bombshell ....

Looking at the picture of her and her partner his legs are longer than hers. I can't find a description of Leggy Nick, however hard I look.

For the love of God, we are not in the 1970s.

This is written by a woman, who graduated with a 2:1 in journalism in 2015, so I guess she is about my own age (born 1993). I would be ashamed to write such rubbish.

I think the Daily Mail secretly invented human AI. They put noise cancelling headphones on a trainee journalist and forced her to read twenty years' worth of Sidebar of Shame until the editor just had to yell 'Jennifer Aniston!' or 'Dua Lipa!' and she'd automatically start typing from the following list

launches a blistering attack (mentions ex in interview)
poses up a storm (stands in a public place)

FYI, I was reading sports coverage and then saw the stupid SofS comment so I read on.

Unfortunately clicking on the DM sports coverage is still actively supporting the DM and everything they stand for.
You were innocently reading sports, they targeted you with click bait, and you clicked. They don't care what you think of the article, they only care about the clicks you are giving. Outrage and disgust are just as as profitable as agreement for them.

It’s not all on one side. I remember a press call where HW was dressed to put the goods on show (and let’s not pretend that isn’t a big part of what she’s selling) iibut got snarky when a photographer asked for a ‘bit of leg’.

By choosing to read misogynistic crap like the Daily Mail you are contributing to the clicks which fund its business model. That makes you part of the problem.

Instead of reading it then going online to whinge about it, why not just boycott it?
