Outdoor quickie

So today me and my partner had a spare couple of hours. We had a walk around a local garden centre, then went to a country pub for a couple of drinks, when we finished up we had a drive down the country lanes and ended up walking through some cornfields….. anyway, long story short, we ended up having a quickie in the field!!! It was much fun. But can’t help feel a bit wrong lol. AIBU

Does anyone else keep reading this as “outdoor quiche”?

Now, that I could get on board with. I love a good quiche.

You seriously can't have a couple and be able to drive?!
Like sure whole thread is a wind up but in the OP it says had a couple... Even the law allows you to drive after a couple...

Especially if the drinks were (say) a ribena and an iron bru

The cornfields are alive with the sound of music.

I hope the maize was bountiful and healthy.

Hopefully, a corn kernel didn't reach a region it should never find itself in.

Trolls have gone downhill round here since Brian from Hull and his yoni massage offer.

I got a bit intrigued when someone similar to Brian popped up on one of my local FB groups. He compared himself to Jesus, claimed to have all kinds of powers over dogs (could be useful to some people locally!) and offered to massage women on their beds, free of charge, to alleviate all kinds of health conditions.
A pretty good offer, but nowhere near Hull so it might have been someone different.

Have any crop circles appeared anywhere?

You also get drunk enough you can't drive from 2 drinks?
Some real light weights here...
I guess it is mumsnet but out of the ridiculous OP the being too drunk to drive off a couple of drinks is more out there than the post itself.

Edited

I don't drink anymore - went sober 3 years ago, but since I hit 40-ish I'm the same. I couldn't/wouldn't drive after 2 glasses of wine, or 2 pints of beer, (or even 1.) 🙄

I would feel light headed and tipsy, and would not be in full control of the car. I think driving a car after 2 alcoholic drinks, and mocking and deriding those who don't drive after 2 alcoholic drinks, is ludicrous. It's nothing to be proud of. It sounds like something a 19 year old would say.

Drinking and driving is a pretty stupid thing to do actually, even if it is 'only' 2 drinks. If someone is going to drive within the next 10-12 hours, they shouldn't touch a single drop of alcohol. You don't know how it's going to affect you on any given day. Just because you MAY be under the limit, that doesn't mean you're in full control of the car.

Many people after 2 alcoholic drinks would not be fit to drive a car. And I'd rather be a lightweight than a lush. Some people on here act like being able to carry on standing after knocking back 2 bottles of wine is something to be proud of. It's not an achievement that people should be shouting from the rooftops about. I'd be embarrassed to admit that.

And the OP clearly wasn't drinking bloody Ribena or Irn Bru. Wink
