I was at Take That but London was heaving … check these numbers out..

Six massive headline concerts. One city.
🎤 Harry Styles — Wembley Stadium (~90,000)
🎤 Take That — London Stadium (~70,000-80,000)
🎤 Bad Bunny — Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (~60,000)
🎤 Garth Brooks — BST Hyde Park (~65,000)
🎤 Lily Allen — The O2 (~20,000)
🎤 Kneecap — Crystal Palace Park (~25,000)

That’s around 330,000 people at these six shows alone!

various music festivals going on up and down the country … if you can get out to Dublin or Manchester to see the lads! They were phenomenal! Seeing Harry next week!!

We are spoilt for choice in London. It’s one of the many things I love about living here.

I was at Harry Styles with my DD on Friday. Absolutely bloody brilliant (and yes, we did pay a lot, but friends of DD got £30 tickets on the day from a resale site).

I was also at Gorillaz at Spurs a couple of weeks ago, which was amazingly good fun, too. Such a joyous night!

It’s the best city in the world for live music.

And also night 3 of Empire of the Sun at Alexandra Palace last night! Absolutely brilliant!

How did I not know they were playing?! Fuck!
Seeing the Streets with my DS at Ally Pally soon…can’t wait!

I saw TT but in Glasgow. The general public completely ruined it for me.
I got stood on by drunk men taking photos, some drunk woman collapsed on me making me fall, I got spewed on, some fucker was wearing a back pack and any time he swayed the bag would knock into me.
I'm used to Glasgow for a concert but this was something else. Its really put me off concerts

I heard stories like that about TTs last tour, I went, but in a cheap resale for £35 right at the top of The Hydro.
I got Saturdays ticket resale too, £55, but for floor and there were absolutely no issues where I was luckily.
Harry was an utter dream of course, he always is, can't wait to go again.

Abigailandthefoxes · 29/06/2026 19:03

I was at TT on Thursday and it was amazing I was also one of the cowboy hat wearing people for Garth Brooks on Saturday and that was fantastic as well.

MistyGray · 29/06/2026 19:20

We were at the TT concert on Saturday night too and they were bloody brilliant! As were Belinda Carlisle and The Script. The thing that spoilt it (a bit) was the time it took to get out of Stratford International car park 🫣 over an hour just sitting with nothing moving! No idea what the issue was but when we did eventually get to the exit, the barriers were up so we didn't have to pay the EXTORTIONATE £28.75 (instead of the normal £9.50 on normal days) car park fee so win win!

Next weekend two nights of Metallica! I’m spending the summer in another country and there are NO GIGS. I will be miserable.

DongQing12 · 29/06/2026 19:27

Lily was incredible! Getting back to Suffolk was a nightmare, but absolutely worth it!

I was about to say how are we on page 3 of the thread and noone has mentioned the Mighty Metallica next weekend!!!

CheeseWisely · 29/06/2026 19:52

Love London! My friend was there visiting family last week and talked of the tube being a packed mix of rugby fans and Harry fans, all having a great time, great atmosphere.

lovecotswoldsliving · 29/06/2026 19:54

shush!
Burnham will ban them all and insist they can only play up North lol

billandtedsexcellentadventure · 29/06/2026 19:56

Harry was amazing.

prices for hotels are ridiculous, it’s the same next weekend with Gay Pride, Hyde Park Concerts, Wimbledon, the Proms and Harry Styles.. I wish they would space events out more so not everything js crammed in to the same 2-3 week period every year.

Metallica as well next weekend!

KateSixer · 29/06/2026 20:16

Yes it's awesome.

And mainly because London is pretty well the only part of the UK with a functioning economy that has not been crushed by the state.

fireandlightening · 29/06/2026 20:20

Anyone go to Bad Bunny last weekend? It was epic! And, so well organized - given it was 60k people. London is really an extraordinarily well run city.

I was about to! 😀

Mostly because like PP I also had to look up the London Stadium because I had no idea where it was despite not just living here but having been to it when it was the Olympics 🤣

My gig of the year/decade/lifetime is going to be Underworld at Brixton in February though.

Fizbosshoes · 29/06/2026 20:27

I saw Harry at Wembley on Tuesday, and TT on Friday. I dont think ive ever sweated as much in my life, as on Tuesday! 🤣 Friday felt a bit cooler, especially outside the stadium.
But both concerts were amazing and brilliant, in totally different ways. My ticket for HS was £73 and worth every penny. I think TT was £110, but the seats were better.

Dilemma999 · 29/06/2026 20:36

Best city in the world! Bad Bunny was apparently brilliant.

I’m not kidding - one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to!!!

Yes all that going on and Network Rail decided to do engineering work on our line (and when the London Marathon was on too). I know they've got to do it sometimes but I think there probably are quieter weekends!

Johanna06 · 29/06/2026 21:14

That would be amazing for those of us who live "Up North" !!

KrazyKatty · 29/06/2026 21:21

You’re welcome to it!

I was in London last week visiting various family members. I hate the place.
Couldn’t wait to get back home to my much cooler rural idyll. I always dread going and only ever start to feel relaxed when I’m on the plane home again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

SkinnyLatteExtraHotPlease · 29/06/2026 21:34

I was at the epic Garth Brooks concert..apparently the most tickets ever sold for a BST Event @ 70,000! 👏
