And there isn’t a single word from the “protect our women and children” lot. Not a word from Farage, Tice, no riots or anger.

How much more will it take to show that these people do not care about us at all?

Here we go again. So you're politicising the rape of a woman - the exact thing you accuse Farage et al of doing?

It's not politicising rape to point out that others are politicising rape.

Totally illogical and demonstrative of a lack of critical thinking skills.

So what do you call the introduction of Henry Nowak's case to this thread? The lack of critical thinking isn't from me.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 27/06/2026 11:48

Pretty sure it was about Henry Nowak.

Yes it was. Quite bizarre the OP is referring to it in a rape case.

weetumshie · 27/06/2026 12:19

I see the Farage etc apologists now accuse those wondering where the ‘protect are women’ are of policising this case. It’s perfectly legitimate to ask why women raped by white men aren’t worth protecting.

Sarahconnor1 · 27/06/2026 12:20

The case is currently sub judice so any politician would be momumentally stupid to make any kind of comment in this until the trial is over.

And that principle applies regardless of opinion on Farage, Tice and the rest of them.

Farage apologist? No, a proponent of free speech though. As the OP seems to be struggling, can you kindly explain why Farage and his party, in particular, are expected to speak on the matter and why their silence suggests they think it's not important.

Nevergotdivorced · 27/06/2026 12:22

Despicable to raise this to make a political point.

The poor victim and of course the other victims the wives, children and parents of all the men that raped this poor woman.

Ablondiebutagoody · 27/06/2026 12:36

So your main thought about this appalling story is that people who haven't posted something about it are racists? Weird take on it.

That never mattered to Farage et al in the other instances

Race baiting?

it’s the truth. Farage has no issue with commenting when it suits his agenda.

Christ almighty. NO ONE reported it???? I cannot imagine knowing that was happening to someone and doing nothing. WTAF is wrong with these people?

Why are you surprised that none of the 100 men who answered an advert to come along and take part in such a disgusting scenario, and then either lost their nerve or were worried about the possible consequences for them in having already been implicated with that evil monster, felt the desire to then go and tell the police and answer some very difficult questions and possible accusations? Not to mention the fact that, if it got out that they had reported it, they would have instantly made themselves some serious enemies amongst their underworld community of violent criminals.

It's nothing like when an innocent passer-by suddenly hears/notices something horrific and immediately alerts the authorities - which I fully believe that a great many members of the public of both sexes would instinctively do.

I highly doubt that many of those men who knew exactly what they'd come along for chose to refrain because they suddenly discovered that Gisele hadn't actually consented and they fully respected her absolute right to her own bodily and sexual autonomy. Rather they would have realised that the clear lack of consent could have repercussions for them, if/once they were found out. They still doubtless couldn't have cared less about Gisele herself.

Maybe they were every bit as evil as the men who went ahead with the crime, but just smarter, more cautious and more self-aware.

weetumshie · 27/06/2026 12:45

re those asking why we expect Farage et al to comment…I’d think given their views they’d be fizzing with pure cold rage at this woman’s treatment at the hands of men, just as they are at the treatment of women by men of a different skin colour. Not too difficult to understand, is it?

imeanwtf · 27/06/2026 12:37

The point still stands its sub judice and I for one wouldn't want anyone risking this trial. On that basis I wouldn't want Farage or anyone else making any kind of statement.

ofcolitas · 27/06/2026 11:21

Shocking and Sad isn't it.

You know what shocked me even more? I read Giselle Pellicot's autobiography and it transpired that of all the men who came to her house, roughly 100 men came and refused to have sex with her because she wasn't in a position to consent. Not one of those men reported it. They just got in their cars and went home to their lives. And those men are the men who consider themselves to be the decent, good, men.

Edited

That thought struck me at the time and now again with this case.

The claim that NAMALT is not upheld by these statistics. It very much bears out that MOST men will if they think they'll get away with it.

You're not helping by repeating the completely irrelevant Farage phrase. 🙄

WestwardHo1 · 27/06/2026 12:50

PhaedraTwo · 27/06/2026 11:33

You kind of are. You're using this to make a point against them. They're awful, awful people but your using this victim as point scoring is distasteful.

You sound like you are trying to shut down discussion because you don't like the implications.

Oh bore off. I'm assuming you're hinting that I support Reform? You couldn't be more wrong. Farage and Co are politicising rape and so is the OP and her apologists.

Swiftie1878 · 27/06/2026 12:55

imeanwtf · 27/06/2026 11:42

I’m just interested why that deserves “pure cold rage”, but this doesn’t? Is it because the perpetrators are largely white British men?

Pure cold rage was about the stabbing of a student and his arrest whilst he lay dying.
So called two-tier policing.

Why are you conflating?

Why is this tape gang not deserving of rage? Can you please explain?

This!

Error404FucksNotFound · 27/06/2026 13:01

Is anyone genuinely shocked though?

These men don't care about women and girls. hell, half of them are likely out there abusing women and girls too.

They use our traumas, attacks on us, our deaths.. to indulge their violent natures and and spout their racist bullshit.

They are revolting.

GreekMountain · 27/06/2026 13:03

I can’t stand Farage but this thread is goady and grim. I also really hate the idea that politicians should leap onto Twitter to condemn things or else be accused of not caring about them- that sort of cheap rabble rousing is a bad thing.

There’s also the small fact that these 13 blokes have not been convicted yet (unlike the killer of Henry Nowak) so everyone (including Farage) is very limited in what they can legally say.

You need to go back and read the context about his phrase. If he had said it because a Sikh man murdered a white man, this embarrassing straw clutching might just work. Back to the drawing board.
