I’ve been to a few Taylor Swift themed events where there were some pretty die hard Swifties and they were all so friendly! It was the complete opposite of toxic.

Trump. Farage. Tate.

I would go further and say all religions.

They are ‘focused’ and will pile on any perceived criticism. So yes, they probably do qualify.

And I say that with a Swiftie username.

Most Swifties are perfectly nice until you suggest Taylor might not be the single greatest vocalist, songwriter, performer, and musician to ever live. Then suddenly you’re getting lectured about album sales by people insisting you’re the one who doesn’t know music.

Im not sure I would agree that counts as toxic.
Even the most ‘focused’ fans aren’t displaying or encouraging hateful and dangerous behaviour in the same way followers of people like Andrew Tate do.
Those people are causing very real harm to society.

That’s not unique to TS fans though. I’ve had similar conversations with very dedicated fans of all
kinds of bands. I’ve never considered that type of behaviour toxic.

The Sasaeng are definitely the most toxic fans. They're known for hacking phones and emails to get flight schedules or to harass family members of celebrities.

Its well known online how toxic they are. You just need to look at the instagram comments under anyone associated with her ex Joe, to see how bad they can be. His new girlfriends Instagram had loads the other day (Sarah Pidgeon)

They did the same with his previous love interests, its quite pathetic actually. Travis’s ex has had to limit her comments due to the hate she was receiving, all because she used to date someone TS dates.
