You might not like this, but it's almost like a term of endearment in Scotland now.
When I was a wee girl, it was the worst word. The lesser bad words were things like "bloody". And we had an answer to that.
"Bloody's in the bible, bloody's in the book, if you don't believe me, take a bloody look"
But now? People use it indiscriminatley.
"Aw, see that wee guy, he's a good c*nt really".
"We were away for the weekend and had a c*nt of a time"
"Met a guy in the pub at the weekend and he was the funniest c*nt I've ever met".
I remember walking back from work one day around 2014, and this woman came out of a shop and roared "aww jeanie ya lovely c*nt, how are you doing".
I laughed all the way home as I couldn't believe the brass neck of her but loved the fact she didn't give a flying one.
I rarely use the word, though I have on here, once, still ashamed of it.
I don't like it either tbh and you are not a snowflake, but language evolves.
