Thought I would create a thread for all the everyday irritations that are too petty to share but get your blood up. Whether your oestrogen and agreeableness has deserted you or you are just generally feeling a bit pissed off with things- I feel it’s always better to get it off your chest. And in that spirit-I will begin…

I have a lovely relationship with Vinted (I buy too much shit on here) but it really gets on my nerves when people:

  1. post photos of shoes with foot cheese evident all over the soles (ick).
  2. soneone posts something with a stain saying ‘it will come out in the wash’. So wash it you dirty gopper.

Also ‘DH’ stop leaving your dribbling toothbrush and bog blocking shites in the loo for me to tackle. Fucking beast.

That is all today.

Possibly…..

I am so tired

Tarkan · 17/06/2026 17:50

Another one bitching about having a cold here.

I’m recovering from surgery (hysterectomy thanks to endometrial cancer) and I’ve only been out the house to meet friends on one single day since then but everyone wanted to hug me and someone seems to have shared their germs with me while doing so. 🤬

ohyesido · 17/06/2026 18:27

Ive had a mild reaction to the hair removal cream I used

BiteSizedLife · 17/06/2026 18:31

AirBnB search filters.

I want to be able to filter by "has a bathtub yes/no"

I have to scroll though every picture of every listing to work it out from the photos.

Also ditto for "enclosed garden or yard yes/no"

Pain in the arse.

Being 8 days overdue and a natural birth skipping out of my fingers!
Asked for monitoring instead of induction (they induce at +7 now!!) and baby looks fine but I’m scared & frustrated that he won’t come before my induction Thursday.
It’s not fair. All my babies are overdue and huge! Wish I had a 38 weeker 7lb sounds like bliss 😮‍💨

You don’t have to have an induction. I went to 42 + 2. It’s just become a default now. Regular checks should spot any issues. Mine was 9 lbs but labour was fine.

IAMFLUFF · 17/06/2026 18:34

People who FaceTime the family from high end restaurants without using headphones. FFS no one needs to hear you and your rellies at dinner.

Susiesue61 · 17/06/2026 18:38

My DH. He has to interview tomorrow for his own job. I get that’s shit. But I’m bored of it now, I have stuff going on too but he is too stressed to discuss or even be a little bit kind 🤨

My other half having no remorse for losing a hat I kept of my dad’s. Who passed away years ago and I had it in a box of things of his I treasured.
I should never have let him use it. My bad, it was a last minute offer as it was 32 degrees out a few weeks ago and he was going somewhere and needed a hat.
There is no point getting upset as it will end up being my fault and I will end up in tears.
My dad was an amazing man, I have 50 years worth of memories that nobody can ever take from me.
I brought the hat back from my very first trip from NYC. Designer, in the posh Barneys bag, he was delighted with it. It was a big dog eared and got relegated to his gardening hat.
I have asked about it a few times and he kept making excuses. He was only out for thee hours nowhere rowdy like a festival or taken it on holiday.
I never ever lend stuff, which he well knows, I did ask him to take really good care of it as he knew of its meaning to me.

Bastard!

Feckinglife · 17/06/2026 18:51

My body and MH, coming together- forcing myself to work because it is really mainly tiredness due to MH and the other stuff. Felt pretty good this morning until I got off the train and exhaustion kicked in. Could barely walk up to work.
Can’t face arranging a dr appointment I’ll need.
Love football and would normally watch at least some of the World Cup even at the strange times and would have watched England at least first half but not today
😡☹️😔

Mydogisagentleman · 19/06/2026 08:54

Today's irritation is the cunt who spat out chewed gum and my twat of a dog stepping into it.
He's a Bedlington and has curly feet. FML

Trying to speak to a gp to ask one simple question about an error I think he’s made with my medication.

Omg I could just cry. Rang first thing but told I can’t call, I have to fill out a form on the website. Okaaay.

The form says don’t expect a reply for days even though I need a quick answer today. 😕

And it asks what your query is about and lists hundreds of health conditions (presumably you diagnose them yourself) but no box that just says ‘speak to a gp’ or ‘ask a question’. Ughhh. 😩

So I tick admin even though I suspect that it will go to the bottom of the pile because none of the other options are remotely suitable - no I’m not having a stroke - but now we wait… 😢

JanesClinic · 19/06/2026 17:05

Went into town today and there is graffiti everywhere. Who leaves their house with spray paint and thinks it's a good idea to scrawl rubbish on public property? Bring back the birch!

MrCollinsandhisboiledpotatoes · 19/06/2026 17:47

My daughter.
She's driving me insane.
I genuinely thought that by 8yo, she'd be a bit more independent and I'd get a bit of peace but no, she needs constant attention and can never just do something independently.

MrCollinsandhisboiledpotatoes · 19/06/2026 17:48

Also the fact that I put the pasta on for dinner but I didn't put the switch on for the stove so it's just been sat in water doing nothing for 10 minutes

MrCollinsandhisboiledpotatoes · 19/06/2026 17:50

And my husband's tooth infection. He is genuinely suffering and I feel so bad for him but it's been four days now of him in constant pain and me giving him constant care and sympathy while managing the house and kids alone. It is very privately starting to grate on me

ImWearingPantaloons · 19/06/2026 18:01

Someone who had never done a spin class turned up two minutes late today, so the instructor had to get off the bike to show her how to set up, intermittently shouting instructions to the rest of the class.

If it’s your first time at least have the decency to turn up a couple of minutes early!!!!

Pistachiocake · 19/06/2026 18:04

Having to wait for a scan and then having to chase it up myself. I feel much sorrier for people with disabilities or needs which make this much harder for them, though, and it makes me upset that this is the case for them. Why should patients, who are already unwell, have to chase this, instead of the hospitals just doing it as they did in the past?

Mimilamore · 19/06/2026 18:23

Scammers… just had to let my burger and wedges go cold while I spent nearly an hour cancelling my card and speaking to fraud team about accessing my account on line again. 5 days until my new card arrives and had to change everything…. there had been payments to an Italian museum… I bloody wish!!!

Bananananna · 19/06/2026 18:26

Use of the following expressions;

Little miss
little man
LG
LO
I seen

Unrelated to those, people who cross the road instead of waiting for the green man meaning all the cars have to come to an abrupt stop, then end up having to wait as the light changes to red again.

loislovesstewie · 19/06/2026 19:14

May I confess that today my DS is driving me crazy. He has a stammer, it's bad today, not sure why but so is his OCD. I'd love it if he didn't talk for about 30 minutes, to try to reset his brain. But his ADHD won't let him. I love him to bits but....

Just tick the worst medical condition on the list and they will soon be in touch. Then say, oh no I haven’t got XYZ I did it to get some attention!

I would like to know how copious white speckles of toothpaste get on the mirror, on the towel radiator and on the window sill. H swears it's not him and I know it's not me. It's an absolute mystery.

Also, who has piddled up the tiles at the side of the loo?

who has opened the cereal box upside down?

who sprinkled rice all over the kitchen floor?

who leaves packets of biscuits open so that they go soft?

who puts on mud encrusted boots with deep tread and leaves dried clumps of mud/grass throughout the house, including kitchen, sitting room, hall stairs landing?

who crammed the towel down behind the radiator instead of folding it in half and sliding it on?

who uses one teaspoon until it goes dark brown and rough textured?

who spills a drink across the entire length of a room and carries on as if they're completely unaware of it?

who always coughs/hoiks up globs of mucus before they enter a room/before they begin to speak?

who bellows hello into their phone in the most irritated and aggressive fashion to everyone who rings?

who innocently pretends not to hear so that you have to repeat things several times?

who has the audacity to ask direct questions when I'm counting stitches?

oh I could go on ...

and he denies it all

My mum did the crusty teaspoon thing ...I've no idea why!!!

Katemax82 · 20/06/2026 09:01

I'm already completely exhausted. At midnight my 15 month old started crying hysterically and wouldn't calm down because he's poorly and my now 13 year old daughter came crying into my room cos she's too scared to sleep alone. I ended up sleeping with them both on the front room floor. Its her birthday today and was awake at 7 and I hadn't wrapped her presents yet as she always lies in till late normally and was going to do it first thing. Ditto the 20 helium balloons I got for her. She's now asleep on the sofa so I've got to do the balloons elsewhere

neverbeenskiing · 20/06/2026 09:06

My 7 year old came into my room at 5.30am, fully dressed, to ask my opinion about various footballers I've never heard of. Fucking shattered and it's only 9am.
