Shaun does seem really lovely. He was a guest on Jeremy Vine's Channel 5 show a while back, and he mentioned in passing that he always goes for a drink with the contestants afterwards, but he's the only Chaser who does.

I know it's his persona that he's completely dull and boring, but in real life, I think he'd be fascinating company. Also, without wanting to put down the other Chasers, they all seem to have quizzing as their only or main job (I may be wrong); whereas Shaun also just happens to be a barrister as his main occupation!

Agree, theyre really great chasers but shaun is definitely classically accomplished

I think maybe with his career and meeting people from all walks of life, he's a bit more easygoing as a chaser
