AIBU to wear denim shorts in my 60s?

What are the thoughts of people who see a woman in their 60s in denim shorts (Not bum showing or ripped), paired with a 100 stars throw over and white linen top.

Am I pushing my luck?? I have pretty good legs!

I can't say I'm terribly bothered, but I just wondered what people thought. Perhaps I should be damned ... !

Go for it! Young people walk around looking all sorts of different ways - why shouldn’t women of our generation wear whatever we want and feel comfortable.

I do, I'm near 63 and my daughter says I have better legs than her lol. Wear what you like if you feel good in them x

Im 55 and currently sitting in just above the knee denim shorts. I can't see me giving them up, they're so bloody comfortable!! Ive got decent legs , pity about tge rest! 🤣🤣

I’m late 50s and currently wearing my white denim jorts (dreadful word) and I wore shorts last year. And I’ve since lost over 2 stone and I’m definitely enjoying wearing this new pair

I didn't know denim shorts were for a specific age? Assuming they're not the ones that your butt hangs out of, go for it. I wouldn't think anything of it and I'd judge you for your ass hanging out of you u were 16 or 60

Why wear denim though in hot weather? It doesn't make sense. Heavy weight, zip , often tight, fixed waistband , restrictive. I don't get it.

68 here, partner is 73, both women, both wearing shorts, including denim shorts, every day from now til October (hopefully)

Why "well done"? I have lymphodoema. My legs are the opposite of what you probably mean by "good". Am I an awful person? Do you condemn me and my behaviour?

I’ve not got “good” legs (well, they are good in the sense that they get me from A to B!) and I wear shorts regardless! Go for it!

I'm 61 and I've just had a pair of denim shorts delivered... they look great on me, so I'll be wearing them all summer.

I’m 30 and would not bat an eyelid at anyone / any age / any shape wearing denim shorts or any shorts for that matter. Wear what you like and what’s comfortable.

As long as denim shorts are appropriate for the location, then wear them.

If it's a formal wedding, or a garden party at Buckingham Palace - give them a miss on this occasion.

It no different to wearing jeans they are a wardrobe stable. They are just legs. They get you from a-b and have done a lifetime of mile and and supoort you your who life.
