out of curiosity what age did you feel you looked your best?

Late 20s for me

XenoBitch · 22/05/2026 23:37

Late 20s early 30s. But at the time, I thought I looked like shit. Now I am older, and actually do look like shit... I wish I could go back in time and kick myself up the ass.

Blondiney · 22/05/2026 23:40

24-32.

All started to go to shit around 38.

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 22/05/2026 23:41

Fourteen. I remember it well and I was gorgeous!

JillThePlantKiller · 22/05/2026 23:42

Early twenties, but I didn’t feel good in my self until my mid thirties. Struggling a bit now in my late forties but I still feel more self acceptance than my younger years.

Leapintothelightning · 22/05/2026 23:42

Probably 25-27. Before I had children!

TiredMagpie · 22/05/2026 23:49

I’ve had phases of feeling great in my life if I think about it, rather than a single ‘at my best’ age.

I blossomed at around 20 yrs old and felt like I looked amazing until I had my first child at 27.

I then felt great again between 36-39. I lost a bit of weight, my kids weren’t so young and needy so I had more time for myself and I rediscovered fashion!

I then felt great between 46-48. Fittest I’ve ever been, flying high in my career and just had a spring in my step.

Perimenoosuse is kicking my arse now at pushing 50 and I feel like crap. Hoping I have a ‘hot 50s’ moment to look forward to 😆

Ladyymuck · 22/05/2026 23:57

My twenties. I was forwarded photos from when I was a student and I look so happy and carefree. I guess you just don’t appreciate it when you’re younger.

30, I’m 59 now and have lost my looks and confidence

Early 30's and IMO that's when I think most people (who I know) looked their best. This is naturally, without fillers etc.

I agree, as a general rule I think women are at their most attractive in their early 30s. Men perhaps a little older.

blubberball · 23/05/2026 05:07

I think early 30s. Strangely, it was also one of the most stressful times of my life. I've never been all that, but for some reason at that time, I embraced everything and ran with it. I embraced my curves, my hair for the first time, and did my make up. I was going out and meeting a lot of people

HappiestSleeping · 23/05/2026 05:09

I was a very cheeky little 2 year old. It's been downhill since then.

icannotlivelaughloveintheseconditions · 23/05/2026 05:37

I had two periods of looking good, the first when I was 16/17. I’d had horrendous bullying at school, I went to college and found myself there. I became popular and got a lot of attention.

The second time was after I left my ex after a long term relationship. I was 27 and suddenly it n a position where I could go out, have fun , dress how i wanted.

my looks properly started to fade in my early forties along with menopausal weight gain.

Alittlefrustrated · 23/05/2026 05:39

30 - 47 precisely 🤣

DontKillSteve · 23/05/2026 05:46

Early to mid 20s. Then gained a bit of weight. Lost weight early 30s and looked good again. Then gained weight. Now mid 50s and slim again but I look my age. Don’t really care now, just want to be healthy.

WhatAMarvelousTune · 23/05/2026 05:59

Now (I’m 34). I exercise more than I ever have before (which isn’t hard because I never used to do any!) so I look fit and strong.

I also think I physically suited pregnancy as well. Mentally not so much, I hated it both times, but I had bigger breasts, lovely thick hair, and a nice bump.

FastFood · 23/05/2026 06:09

Right now, at 46.
So much more confidence, so much fewer fucks to give.
