Ralph lauren or New York Yankees cap?

Going on holiday next month and want my face out of the sun. Which would you go for? Don’t want anything too try hard or tacky

Get a plain cap. You don't need to be branded.

Agree with pp. The branding, whatever it is, is tacky. I like a cheap, straw, trilby bought at the destination. It would get trashed in my luggage.

Both are tacky. Go unbranded or else pick up a straw hat at your destination.

Depends where you're going! If you're heading to New York, you might get teased by Mets fans if you're wearing a Yankees cap and you venture into Queens ;-)

It is if it’s a NYY cap (as a diehard Boston Red Sox supporter). Go for something more original if you want a design on it.

I'd choose a brand/logo that means something to you to raise awareness or go for a plain cap/hat. Possibly buy one there so that you have a souvenir?
Many people feel that obvious logos and brands are tacky.

If you support the Yankees then wear the cap - it's not try hard if you're a true fan - i.e. you've been to the stadium and you watch the games. I wear a Welsh rugby cap. I wouldn't buy a fashion one - would prefer plain - but if your RL one goes better as a colour match with the clothes you are packing then that's the obvious choice.

I’ve discovered recently that the larger sized kids baseball caps fit me very nicely (M&S and next specifically) and there are generally many more colour options than the adults. Cheaper too.

A baseball cap that has an actual baseball team logo is never tacky. Especially if it's the Yankees. 😀

I'm not stressed. Just thought you might have an issue with spelling. And there's nothing wrong with that either - also not sure why it's a joke. Because lots of people struggle with spelling. But you struggle with choosing with what hat to wear.

I have no feedback for you then. I support the teams that I wear merchandise for. I guess we can't all have integrity. Clearly.
