In hating parents

Who think they are better parents than everybodt else, simply by being 'fussier' and overly involved in their childrens' lives. There's a mum I've known for a while now who epitomises the 'helicopter mother' thing. She's always in school complaining about something or other, never takes her bloody eyes off her kids, even for one second and smirks when other children do anything wrong. God I hate her.

Cissy - there is always something to laugh at if you look hard enough.

Hmm try telling her is she sleeping well?? Well you are looking tired. I find that pisses a lot of women off without you looking too bad - you were being helpful.

Yes Flash. It's like the verbal equivalent of flicking imaginary fluff off somebody's shoulder or telling them they've got lipstick on their teeth. It's unsettling and she deserves that sort of treatment. When her son said he couldn't have the same type of party that I'd had for ds1 because mum said it was horrible she showed no embarassment whatsoever. Instead she stifled a laugh in a sort of 'I'll dine out on that' way.
