Link to spreadsheet of Labour MPS calling for resignation - https://x.com/GuidoFawkes/status/2053925699824574889

Streeting has to make his move now, Starmer will never be this weak and he has the chance to go now.

Burnham might be more likely to win, but he is not in, and where exactly is a safe seat by election they could parachute him in for? (nowhere)

So - Streeting will never have a better chance of being PM, he pulls the trigger NOW or he never pulls it at all.

I did say on Thursday that I thought it would be Friday or Monday.... Tuesday is a pretty good guess.

This is a quiet Bat People moment... That Speech... not worth remembering...

Thanks for trying but that analogy doesn’t work for me at all, it’s far too simplistic to compare government to a small business. The PM is not selling anything, the electorate have already bought the manifesto. Would you anticipate a new PM immediately calling an election on a new manifesto?

You could argue that a small proportion of the employer has raised concerns via local elections, but most didn’t bother to do so or were not able to.

The PM is literally selling something and if the voters don’t want to buy it, he’s screwed

Migration needs a wholesale rethink.
Someone has to take responsibility for that.
No-one will.

The whataboutery is nonsense - watch, listen and learn what the public are saying. They aren’t being quiet about it. It’s very overt!

It has had many total rethinks - just in recent years:

Brexit removed freedom of movement.
2021’s points-based system made it harder.
Restrictions on dependents.
ETA visas.

What do you want to change next ?

@Allisnotlost1 of course he's selling something ! He's supposed to be selling us his visions and plans and hopes and getting us on board so as a nation we know what the point of it all is !

This is the best joke on the internet today.

Reeves as PM.

That is the same thing people said about Donald Trump ….

Only a handful of Gulf kingdoms have no formal asylum systems.

Why do they want us to be like Muslim countries ?

No members of the cabinet have resigned as of yet (as Secs of State which is what are regarded as cabinet positions)

Illegal migration is going up.

It’s a bit more complicated than that. From the HoC library:
^^

  • Around 46,000 people were detected arriving via illegal routes in the UK in 2025.
  • About 41,000 arrived by small boats in 2025, up on 2024 but below the 2022 peak of roughly 46,000.
  • 2026 crossings are running about a third lower than the same point in 2025.
MissBowen · 12/05/2026 14:12

At 2.00, the BBC reported more resignations expected this afternoon.

That’s what the GE is, the electorate bought that vision but now a noisy minority are trying to persuade us that we don’t know what the government stands for. I don’t know about you but I can remember two years ago pretty well.

And fucking moron MPs are falling for it. It’s their manifesto too, if they think the electorate don’t remember it that’s on them.

I think they will address the cost of living crisis - a huge cause of which is a badly managed net zero policy (which in principle I agree with but not at this cost) and secondly I think they will tackle legal and illegal immigration. Those are the two highest issues on voters minds right now according to latest polls.

Hopefully, do you think the other parties would? Not even mentioning the Green Party. According to my local labour MP she has said she has fed back at national level what the concerns there are publicly. They would be negligent to ignore the warnings. We had a previous Tory MP who did nothing of note for his constituents. I didn’t vote for them. Think they thought they could bring down Starmer as the others would have us involved in an illegal war. He has been given a second chance he needs to prove himself.

Why do they want us to be like Muslim countries ?

Because they want less people in the UK whose culture is diametrically opposed to our own.

their words and position not mine.

Because a kingdom is what they’re actually after. Reform isn’t a democratic party, why does anyone think they’d let the little people have a say?

I think it’s exactly what the right will campaign against in the new GE and be elected on it. It’s a slam dunk for a win.

energy bills way down. Immigration of both types way down and in fact reversed.

that’s their ticket. That’s their victory.
