The sunscreen song

When faced with the choice of proving you are right, or being happy, choose to be happy.

Just because you like something doesn’t mean you need to own it.

I was just reading through all the posts to check no one had put "always wear sunscreen" and you beat me to it by one minute!!! 😂 The best advice ever, but it ties with my Dad's favourite "Least said soonest mended" so true. 😊

I used to think "just be yourself" was a good rule for everyone to live by, until a friend pointed out that no, some people are shits and really need to stop being themselves and change.

It's more important to be nice than to be honest. Honesty is an excuse people use to say what they want without caring about the consequences.

As an autistic person, 'be yourself' has gotten me into so much trouble 😄

Who you are st the office differs from at home to with acquaintances to with people you need to impress

You cannot just go around being yourself 😫

You ride the wave, don’t let the wave ride you.

You can't reason somebody out of a viewpoint they didn't reason themselves into in the first place.
