I've never been a fan because I think they would ruin the country should they get into power, you only have to look at the damage caused to Bristol by a green council. But they lobbied well and presented a reasoned debate to save the environment....now they are basically momentum by a different name

Could you explain how legalising all drugs is going to take supply out of the hands of criminals?

Is a Green led government planning to buy all the drugs produced by the drug producers?

What infrastructure/state mechanisms/laws would be required to achieve that without vast amounts of collateral damage (ie deaths) on the way?

Do you feel like the Greens have a well researched and coherent policy on this or have they just continued their student politics and are saying whatever they think will appeal to ageing party kids?

They absolutely are still focused on green issues. They are a socialist leaning party because many environmentalists argue that socialism is the way to tackle climate change. It is so frustrating to keep seeing people going 'well they don't talk about the environment anymore', it just shows complete ignorance on the subject.

We cannot tackle the climate crisis with our current system of barely regulated capitalism. We need a system change in order to tackle the climate, which is exactly what they are doing. It's completely in line with environmentalism. There's an interesting short book on the subject, Ecosocialism by Michael Löwy.

Personally as someone who is a qualified drug worker and who has worked in places where people come in clean and go out with a drug habit - I don't think the UK policy on drugs as it stands is working

He might say he’s an ardent feminist but when he also says that men can be women by wishing it to be so, ‘women’s rights’ as we know them don’t exist.

If a man says it’s ok for a male rapist to be in incarcerated, shower and associate with vulnerable women, you can be sure he’s not a feminist.
