I am actually horrified. A third, Muslim, man was stabbed in the attack but he isn’t being mentioned anywhere. How is this allowed?!

Metropolitan Police (@metpoliceuk) on X

A man will appear in court today charged following a Counter Terrorism Policing investigation into two men stabbed in #GoldersGreen: https://t.co/BgK04EQmyX

Again, Ishmael Hussein was not the attacker’s partner, so you’re making a false equivalence.

Oh ok. You think no one ever travels to attack people they have a personal relationship with unless they are attacking their mother or partner? Would you like to buy some magic beans?

And for the ultimate confusion some Iranian funded group tried to claim it.

Yes, people on here seem to be ignoring that particular "narrative"; that the Iranian Ambassador to the UK called for "martyrdom", and that Iran sponsors terror throughout the world. Including the UK.
So maybe folks should stop blaming Keir Starmer, the Met Police, the Jewish community or whoever, and look at what's going on.

But then they would have to fess up to the fact it’s not Jews who are the issue which they really really don’t want to do

Well BBC news has said that this attack is the “biggest national emergency since Covid” - 300,000 people died during Covid.

The BBC didn't say that, at all..The quote came from a government counter terrorism advisor. It was in relation to the rise in antisemitic incidents in recent years, not just this attack. It clearly wasn't suggesting any comparison in death tolls..

When the BBC published the quote, their article immediately noted that the Home Secretary had since clarified that the current wave of antisemitic incidents did not infact qualify as a national security emergency..

So again, please explain what narrative is being pushed here? And why you seem determined to keep making things up.

PatriciaRocks · 02/05/2026 12:46

@tulippetals you didn't answer my question.
What's this "special police force" for 300k people you claim is being set up?

That's the problem. Why let proven evidence - the terror support from the Iranian Govt itself - get in the way of ignorance and bigotry?.

Because that might mean having hurty thoughts about who else could be the issue.

Yes, there's a common claim of a "narrative" isn't there?

No, I’m saying people minimising it as a domestic dispute when they don’t even live together is wrong.

You keep saying "why is that?" Why do you think it is?

This is the little detail that you think is worth focusing on? What are you trying to minimise that you want to focus on an irrlelevant detail.

Well no it’s probably not a national emergency- it’s an international emergency. Antisemitism is happening in many countries. Any right thinking person will realise what’s happening and not seek to minimise it in any way. This is how Hitler came to power- appeasing an anti semite and refusing to acknowledge his evil

Again, Ishmael Hussein was not the attacker’s partner, so you’re making a false equivalence.

The point is, he knew Ishmael Hussain already.

He then travelled to Golders Green to attack Jews who he didn't know, probably because he hated Jews.

You're arguing that him travelling to a Jewish area in order to stab people was entirely coincidental. Unlikely.

He was mentally unwell. It’s actually vile that people are trying to erase the third victim because it doesn’t fit the narrative.

Essa Suleiman appears to be mentally unwell but he had also been referred to Prevent.
No-one has tried to "erase" his first victim, his friend, as all three victims have been being reported by the mainstream media, as a quick google search will show.
There is no "narrative" at play other than in your mind.

The thread is asking the question are the Met police erasing the third victim and the answer has been clearly given: No they aren't.

The third victim has not been erased, he has been named and is in the news reports. It doesn't help him or anyone to focus on irrelevant details about the exact relationship he has with his one-time friend who attacked him.

It’s called clutching at straws when there’s no other argument left. The fact is there was a 20 year relationship between the victim and alleged attacker. But some people on here thinks this is the same as attacking random people on the street because of their ethnicity

wrongthinker · 02/05/2026 12:58

"It couldn't be an anti-semitic terror attack because he also killed a non-Jew" is a really fucking desperate argument.

Is there a 4th victim who actually died or is that poster spectacularly ill informed and just copying and pasting social media crap?

Previous posters tried to imply they lived together in the same house.

Why are you so invested in people not correcting misinformation?

I take yout point but various news outlets including the BBC and the Guardian are reporting that Essa Suleiman had been referred to Prevent in the past.

As had Axel Rudakabana.

I think there should be a review into how effective Prevent decision making is.

ProudAmberTurtle · 02/05/2026 13:03

Here's the hate crime data if you look at it per capita, which is the only relevant criteria

Met police are erasing the third victim of the Golders Green stabbing
