AIBU to feel unsettled after guessing a child's name exactly?

Just finished work and was making my way home when I saw 2 young girls with their parents selling few things for charity. Gave them money and one of the older girls said to me guess my name with a clue I give you something for free. Before she said clue I guessed her name like I was drawn towards her. They were all amazed. But it made me feel unsettled.

Pure chance. I once guessed the embarrassing nickname a friend used for her partner out of the blue.

I’d find that strange too,I’d say they were creeped out, although maybe you’d met her somewhere before?

So what's your point, OP? Why do you feel unsettled?
And are you expecting us all to say "Wow, you must be psychic!"?

You’d probably overheard her say it without realising. I once correctly guessed a colleague’s PIN number. He was about ready to have me burned as a witch!

I once was having a meal with friends and one of the chaps (whom I’d never seen before in my life) said ‘I have the worst middle name ever.’ I cheerfully said ‘it can’t be as bad as Gabriel’ (thinking of another chap I had met recently). Well, it was, because his middle name was Gabriel.

It wasn't really her name. They would have said yes to anything you guessed.

You haven't shared the name? Was it a normal popular name? If you have children a similar age it isn't hard to think back to popular names when your child was born and have a guess. What age were they? Was it Olivia 🤔?

She could have also lied that you guessed correctly!
