Would you be concerned if someone had 100 Vinted parcels in a week

Personally I would

Presumably you mean receiving 100 parcels a week, that’s a lot of shopping and a lot of individual delivery costs. It does depend somewhat as to what they are and why they’ve been ordered.

Eightdayz · 24/04/2026 14:49

Mind your business

Squirrelchops1 · 24/04/2026 14:52

Maybe they're buying something for a party and need a lot but forgot they could bundle for cheaper postage. Are the parcels the same?

Mumstheword1983 · 24/04/2026 14:54

CarrotChow · 24/04/2026 13:43

I would presume they are using it for a source of income like a business and reselling.

This. Sounds like a re-seller. Buying bargains and selling on for a profit.

godmum56 · 24/04/2026 15:01

nowhere near enough info

Gingercatlover · 24/04/2026 15:18

Maybe they buy and resell?

BauhausOfEliott · 24/04/2026 15:41

Context needed.

Missey85 · 24/04/2026 15:45

Mind your own business 🤬 what's it to you if someone likes vinted? It's called saving money

mondaytosunday · 24/04/2026 15:59

I’ve just returned from the US and they have some great thrift stores. My DD has been waiting for two years - she only buys from charity shops or Vinted. She bought, at a rough guess, 25 articles of clothing? One pair shoes, one pair boots, two coats, a poncho, three sweaters, a top, two skirts, three blazers/jackets, three pairs trousers, one skort. Two dresses. Plus a couple things I can’t remember. Cost? About $150. That’s A LOT of clothes. She needed an extra suitcase to bring it all home, plus wore the bulkier items. I can’t imagine her buying FOUR times that. I mean it’s not like her existing wardrobe went up in flames. So either this person is selling on or something as I can’t imagine that’s for personal use.

AImportantMermaid · 24/04/2026 16:10

Some people make a nice living reselling - taking items that are worn, broken, badly presented or underpriced, and upcycling them, and then selling for a lot more. For example, the might get a pair of designer shoulders resoled, a new zip put on a Vivienne Westwood dress, shaving a bobbly jumper, replacing buttons on a cardigan. If you had a side hustle doing this 100 parcels a week would be fine.

Boomer55 · 24/04/2026 16:11

I wouldn’t but it’s their business.

Allmarbleslost · 24/04/2026 16:14

Well it depends what they're buying. If someone needs a whole new summer wardrobe for their 4 kids I can see how that would easily be 100 parcels!

Portugal1987 · 24/04/2026 16:45

I think it would, if it was a close friend or family and not someone running some sort of business.

100 per week seems a sign of a shopping addiction.

Sprinkleofspice · 24/04/2026 17:14

Depends on the context of what’s in them I suppose but yes I think buying 100 things per week is a lot unless like PPs say it’s for business

Another pointless thread with not context and no follow up

Ohcrap082024 · 24/04/2026 17:59

Are we still waiting for an update on the context?

Might pop over to Vinted and have a look for some bargains.

tryandbepositive · 24/04/2026 18:01

Another provocative first time post with no follow up by the Op. Really annoying how much this slop is on MN now.

Shopping7777 · 25/04/2026 17:45

It’s my daughter definitely doesn’t do re selling

What is she buying, why is she buying it, how is she generally?

godmum56 · 25/04/2026 18:23

How old is she, where does she get the money from?

Beachwalker66 · Yesterday 08:58

What’s she ordering? Can she afford it?
Where is she storing it all?

HaveCreditWillShop · Yesterday 09:02

I’ve spent £600 on Boden in the last week getting summer wardrobes for myself and daughter. I’ll probably have to send half of it back for not fitting.
am I also on your hit list? Why is this any of your business?

That’s probably a few dresses and some shoes on Boden. Hardly the same as 100
Vinted parcels - that level of purchasing sounds almost obsessive.

AImportantMermaid · Yesterday 09:18

Is she doing it for her friends? Ordering and having them sent to her on their behalf because she’s the only one with a debit or credit card? Unlikely I know but you can never tell!

Actually no, it isn’t.
I buy a lot of Boden on vinted. Prices £5-15.
