To think garden wind chimes should be banned?!!

Clearly our neighbours don't seem to think so. We've our bedroom window on the latch because it's a little warm (perimeno) and they are so annoyingly noisy!!

I think there is a God. Somehow a miracle has happened (or else some strong winds recently have done it) and next door's have stopped! It's so wonderful. I hope it is a permanent reprieve. It's been several years of torture.

I love them, but I only hang them out when I'm sitting out in the garden on a sunny day. I take them in when I go in cos I know not everyone shares my love of them!

Omg I've jinxed it. Just heard the tinkling bastards. Maybe there just hasn't been any breeze this week. I thought they'd gone 😭😭😭

I have some as do my lovely neighbours next door. We love them. I do hope someone is annoyed by them though considering what we have to put up with.

Exactly! Screaming children, barking dogs, trampolines, loud 'music'. smelly bbqs etc etc., ban those and we may have an agreement! It's obviously approaching summer as this chestnut is being aired yet again.

@JudgeJ Yep and the rest. The ball, the shouting, kids chucking lumps of branches from trees, drug deals.

We ended up sending our neighbours a letter before action as they kept their wind chimes out all day and night, DH is disabled, needs the window open all year (lung issues) and couldn't sleep for the noise. They came round, frank discusion ensued now we are mates. They apparently didn't know they were a problem as the council had not acted on our complaints and they not heard us banging on their door!!
