Message from Amazon about my much loved Kindle

Just got this email this morning. Absolutely gutted - my kindle was bought for me by my ds for Christmas 2011 when he was a student- still works perfectly.

I'm not much of a tech person but my Kindle is literally my favourite possession.

Yes I know there's other ereaders and you can use the library but on the rare occasion I've looked for ebooks in the library if the book I want is available, the waiting list is months and then I get a 3 week window to read that book before it's removed so it can be passed on to the next reader.

The Kindle offers what I want which is why I have it.
