My son and DIL told me this morning that she is 5 weeks pregnant. It’s their first baby and my first grandchild. They’ve been trying for a while and my DIL had confided in me last month that she was starting to get really stressed about it.
I’m so thrilled for them but under strict orders not to tell anyone as it’s so early.
Can I share my excitement and hope for them here?

A year ago we were waiting expectantly for dd's baby due! The 9 months seems so slow!! Yet baby's first year has almost passed by already!
Dd agrees she now knows what I have always said about time flying by!!

I’m struggling to see how this is identifying so I doubt very much my DIL would care. Since the only other people who know are her parents even if every single person in the world reads the post how would they possibly trace it back to her?
Thanks so much to everyone else who understands my excitement and happiness for them. My kids have been, and continue to be, such a source of happiness for me I am so excited for them to be starting out on this journey
