AIBU to really not like hair bows on grown ups?

I don't mind little hair bows on small children, massively dislike Jojo bows though. My pet hate is those huge oversized bows that grown women wear. I never say anything in real life but why? A huge black or navy coloured bow perched at the back of your head? Nope from me. I know it's fashion but they really irritate me to be honest. Anyone else?

For decoration. If it's not your taste fair enough but no point asking why. Like literally every accessory, it's for decorating your body.

Why does a baby need any decorating?

I said I dislike them less, not that I like them. At least hairbands are soft and not on a metal clip

I’m not a fan, so I don’t wear them, but I couldn’t care what others do. If others like them, then they should wear them.

Even worse sticking massive bows on bald babies.

I don't like it either, OP. I can see it looks good at times, even elegant, yet it gives me a creepy feeling. I am definitely being unreasonable, but there it is.

Ha, I love them. Think those lovely velvet bows are gorgeous, especially around Christmas. Might go & buy myself one later today, I’m in my 40s 😊.

Around where we live there are loads of people in a religious cult that all wear Alice bands and huge bows. They’re the only people I see with them.

Like many things I dislike that are a matter of taste, I silently think "Why?". But at the same time, I realise people are different and it would be pretty dull if we all had the same taste.

The people I’ve seen wearing them look really nice. Enough so that I think about wearing one myself but when I go to buy or imagine myself with one in, i think about how silly it would look on me because I’m not of that style. Have you tried being less judgy?

I think those shown in the picture posted above look very elegant, especially the low bun and ribbon. Its a trend I like alot. Might get one today.

These were very fashionable in the eighties. It doesn't perturb me what other women wear in their hair. In fact, sometimes I find myself being pleasantly surprised by what some might term 'eccentric' dressing.
