I picked my niece up from school today and saw her with my own eyes, my sister and her husband have spoken about her in the past. IABU to think this is appropriate in a school with impressionable young children?

I think another woman’s boobs and body choices are none of your god damn business.

Please explain why you think that a woman who has big boobs (there is no proof that they are "fake") should not be teaching primary aged children.

I definitely agree with you. Though my question is, how do we start? Should the ideal chest, height proportion be included in job description or even better, during teacher training courses. And how about men- I say no to those who have a pot belly and tight t- shirts.

I said that large FAKE boobs, which are intended for no reason other than to sexualise, are inappropriate for a teacher.

Similarly it would be inappropriate for a teacher to dress like a lap dancer.

The OP says they are fake. And so that is the premise of my response.

I have no way of knowing whether they ARE fake, but that is irrelevant. My response was in relation to the premise given in the OP - and it is that large fake boobs would be highly inappropriate.

I haven’t read the whole thread but if the OP is saying that women shouldn’t be teachers if they have big breasts (natural or not) I disagree.
If on the other hand she’s saying that they shouldn’t expose huge amounts cleavage, and wear tops that inevitably mean they do, I have more sympathy for her point of view.

I have large boobs and have taught in school. It wasn’t an issue.

So what is "large" in your opinion? B cup, D cup? It seems rather stupid to remove capable people from a shrinking pool just because of their boob size.

If they have been artificially enlarged to generate sexual attention, which is overwhelmingly the reason for doing it (and I am not talking about cases of reconstruction following medical issues such as cancer), to the extent that it is clearly noticeable by people that this has been done, then it is inappropriate for a schoolteacher.

I don’t think those are similar at all. Dressing appropriately for work is very important for teachers, but can be done for any size and shape of body. Including large breasts, real or fake.

It can be pretty obvious in some cases, when someone’s got large implants. Not about size so much, but rather the shape and position.
