We are supposed to be flying to Las Vegas on Friday. I’m really worried about it. Am I being silly? I don’t know what I think is gonna happen I’m just concerned. Anyone else due to travel?

That’s a ridiculous question. People living in the US obviously will continue to buy stuff regardless of their political beliefs . I don’t think the us treasury is going to run out of money anytime soon. Surely you can tell that as tourists it’s reasonable to choose where we spend our cash. I’m not sure why that’s such a difficult point to understand.

we can all choose to travel where we want

I think by me saying that, it means I don’t think it’s a difficult point to understand at all

We’re being really overexposed to a lot right now, particularly with SM and 24:7 News. It’s normal for that to affect you. On the balance of probabilities, your trip will pass without issue & you’ll have a great time.

It isn't normal at all. It's like the woman who panicked yesterday because of Iran so felt the need to fill her car up. God knows why. Saying it's normal validates their feelings and will make them continue to feel that way. It is a very heightened level of anxiety in both cases which probably needs intervention not validation.
