I think we’re at 42 now. It hasn’t missed a day since the first week of January. I feel like I’m stuck in the set of Wuthering Heights despite living in the West Country. I have 2 small kids and a lively dog.

This is DIRE!!!!!!!!

8 million and it's bucketing down horizontally out there again right now with threats of sleet and snow by morning 😫

No rain for about 3 weeks after a miserable December and January. Hoorah!

Also South West. I’ve come to accept that this is just life for us now. Please wish us well

South west too, and it has rained here every day this year. It rained so much two weeks ago that a town locally had lots of houses flooded. It was apparently the highest the river had ever been, and this town regularly floods. Most of the roads were closed or diverted and some youngsters from the local farm shop went to work by canoe. It took me two hours to do my 20 minute commute.

I think all the plants in my garden have drowned.

Day eleventy billion. Hampshire.

My tumble dryer had been almost neglected since my dc's left the pre-school years. I think it's had more use in the last two months than it had in the previous decade.

I took a photo of the sun the other day when it made a brief appearance. It has been so long since I’ve seen it I needed a reminder. It was only out for a couple of hours before the rain resumed.
We live in Worcestershire so have webbed feet. The ground is so saturated the road struggle to drain so there have been large puddles on the roads for weeks. Pot holes are becoming a huge hazard and there are a number of closed roads due to subsidence.

I have a very small leak in the roof which needs addressing and one of the down pipes on the guttering is blocked because of the amount of moss that has washed into it from the roof. It’s never been a problem before but I’m going to have to wait until my son returns from uni to sort it out because I’m not allowed up ladders.
