Are you now more likely to vote for REFORM (the party)

NC for this and apologies if Q already asked. My quick search yielded no result.

Reform plan to undo the reversal of 2 child cap benefit. Are you now likely (or more likely) to vote for them? There have been endless threads about the welfare bill.

I'd like to know why Farage was in tbe Epstein files.
I'd also like to know why journalists are not asking him why he was in the Epstein files.

I will not vote for someone who calls himself a friend of the convicted sex felon best mate of a convicted paedophile.

But to be fair to them and sorry for pointing out the obvious, they did at least have the empathy and critical thinking skills to look after their own children.

And the psychic powers to know their lives won’t be hit by illness/disability/death etc etc.

Eviebeans · 18/02/2026 20:33

While I didn’t agree with the reversal of the two child benefit cap by Labour I can’t imagine what on earth would make me vote Reform

Sorry I don't know what you mean.

I know.

...or to get insurance.

Well if you can't or don't want to expand, stop wasting everyone's time.

Is there an “autistic kid” insurance policy I should have taken out?!

Damn, might be a bit late now.

Personally I'm delighted that I won't have to ask one more woman if her child is the result of rape. Usually in front of her male partner/husband too because they both need to be present to make a joint UC claim.

You can, depending on what you’d like it to cover?
How does this relate to the two child benefit cap?

Was going to vote Reform, but now we have Restore Britain, so actively monitoring how this new party is developing. Love the manifesto and they seem to be gaining traction 🙏

How do you feel about the racism?

TopPocketFind · 18/02/2026 20:53

Ediblechalk · 18/02/2026 19:59

I don’t understand what you’ve taken from that speech that has you rattled, I didn’t get any hint that you’d need an exemption to go to university? or that it was linked in anyway to rolling back the children’s education and vocational training tax.

I am not rattled just bemused that you would vote reform solely because of school fees.

fucketydoodah · 18/02/2026 20:58

Never, never, never. I’m at a loss at to how anyone could. But the biased news coverage and reporting does not help.

napody · 18/02/2026 20:59

There is literally no policy they could announce that would make me vote for them to actually be in charge of anything.

I find it odd when people think that voting would be purely based on manifesto over track record. Imagine you were interviewing someone for a job. They had great answers about all the things they promised to do. But their CV was a list of failures and criminal records, and their references were awful. Would you give them the job?

doobaz · 18/02/2026 21:00

Absolutely not

Not on school fees, on rolling back the tax on children aged between 5 and 18 education and vocational training. It’s an important issue for me and I can’t bare to see Labour get away with such a disgusting policy they obviously enjoyed inflicting on children. It’s not so much a vote for reform as a vote to get Labour out, but I do like lots of stuff coming out of Reform especially regarding growth.

justtheotheronemrswembley · 18/02/2026 21:09

Just to warn you: the IQ-free Nadine Dorries has now arse-licked her way into the Reform party, so if you happen to suffer the misfortune of having her as a candidate and actually decide to vote for her....

Serves you right. 😂😂😂

Glitchymn1 · 18/02/2026 21:09

No.

No. Nigel will say whatever the highest bidder wants him to. That should be obvious enough with his links to Russia and the levels of Russian interference in the Brexit vote.

Treasonous little bastard wants to rob us all.

I'll tell you who the f-ing traitors are – the Left-wing c*s who have used mass immigration to destroy our national identity. A speechwriter for Blair said their plan was to "rub the right's nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date." Well they have achieved their goal. I no longer feel English or British.

The Left have also taught us to hate ourselves and be ashamed of our history and culture. Radio 4, for example, can't even mention Jane Austen without linking her to colonialism in some way. And then they have the nerve to talk about conscription so we can oppose Putin! It's hilarious. I wouldn't lift a toenail to defend this dump. I have nothing to defend. The Left have got what they wanted. They've created a new country. They have succeeded where Pol Pot failed. This is Year Zero – a new nation with a new culture. Fine. Well done you Oxbridge leftists. You have got a new country, and YOU can go and defend it.

TFImBackIn · 18/02/2026 21:10

Absolutely no way. How anyone can have any respect for them is beyond me.

I’m not so sure about this..in an interview situation wouldn’t it better to have no track record and great answers like reform than an absolutely diabolical recent track record and answers that contradict themselves and just saying ‘I’ve been clear’ and ‘far right’ over and over again?
