The goofy toad of toad hall-faced wanker

At least other countries have sexy right wing twats, why do we get him?

1.Please say his name as it is supposed to be said - farage like garage

  1. Please don't vote for him he's one of Those Guys - smug, sweaty faced supercilious thickies
  1. All his policies are gash

Now, that’s real hypocrisy!

Your Starmer posts are littered with Farage references - one rule for others, right?

Yeah definitely more Farage than Starmer on there.

ForRosePoster · 17/02/2026 16:41

I really don't think it will happen.

And hear me out...I will never be in support of a factist right-wing state.

But..when Oswald Moseley was proposing it, he was at least an educated and charismatic speaker and the people willing to take to the streets in support put on a uniform of sorts and looked organised. And Moseley genuinely believed in his fascism and used his background and education to gain followers.

Farage is trying to do the 'i like a pint and I'm just like you' crap to appeal tto the working classes when he was privately educated.

And his public supporters will always look like shit. They'll always look rough, uneducated and like chavs to be honest.

He'll get the secret votes from people who quietly support him who think they're not like the people who are open about it but they won't be enough .

Post Enoch Powell, the optics of right wing parties in the UK have been absolutely terrible.

Perfect28 · 17/02/2026 11:53

I think the op is just trying to lighten the mood and seem relatable. Using humour (badly) to cover up nervousness at our descent to facism.

If they win, I'm leaving the country. As will many others.

Relatable to ?

Whatever - you might have to put up with it. As with every election, many people get who they didn’t want. 🤷‍♀️

I think I touched a nerve here. Pre-Brexit: freedom to live and work across 27 neighbouring countries and a dynamic economy. Post-brexit: only endless bureaucracy.

Brexit has imposed a large and persistent cost on the UK economy. By 2025, we estimate that UK GDP per capita was 6–8% lower than it would have been without Brexit. Investment was 12–18% lower, employment 3–4% lower, and productivity 3–4% lower.

Apart from that, yeah, all good. I'm not the one believing in the fictional sunlit uplands.

No nerve touched, my friend.

I am a realist, and whether I believe that people vote ‘the right way’, or not - ultimately I respect the sanctity of a democracy, despite Starmer’s best efforts.

By all means look down and sneer at those who vote contrary to your wishes, but do not be surprised when populism prevails.

IdentityCris · 17/02/2026 16:45

They've shot themselves in the feet now that the right wing vote has been split by the Restore party. All those defecting Tories must be cursing.

DiySteve · 17/02/2026 16:47

Miggledyhiggledy · 17/02/2026 16:27

The threat of emigration is never carried through. I note one poster on the unfriending right wing friends thread, said she would leave the UK if Reform got in 🥱 I take it she won't be residing in the Middle East. Empty vessels.

That’s it.

Ask where they plan on emigrating to, and you are met with silence or deflection.

IdentityCris · 17/02/2026 16:48

There's definitely something inherently sleazy about Farage. If I ever had to shake hands with him, I'd have to wash my hand very thoroughly in Dettol for at least an hour.

Rent-free doesn’t begin to describe it.

Of course, they have to tiptoe around their criticism of Badenoch…

That is not what I've done, my friend.
I have only pointed out some facts. Again, where are the Brexit gains and what's good about losing Freedom of Movement? If you think that's 'sneering' and 'looking down', I'm not sure what to tell you. I've been waiting for 10 years for Brexiters to prove me wrong, and you know what, I really would have loved them to because it would have meant it's working for the UK. But that's sadly not where we are.

AmberDreams · 17/02/2026 16:51

As long as Labour and the Greens are nowhere near government for at least another generation I’ll be happy with that.

Anyone who votes for them should be sectioned.

Why do you continue to bang on about Brexit and FOM?

The PP threatened to leave the UK and then whined about their inability to move to the EU. We’ve been over this - people are free to go elsewhere, if they meet the entry requirements. If they don’t, tough - stay in the UK and suck it up.

I am not interested in re-running 2016.

Absolutely. Imagine saying you're a feminist and gender critical and voting for either party 😆 🤣

Unlike ring-wing reform voters who would obviously bee-line to Benidorm or Torremolinos.

JHound · 17/02/2026 10:53

I actually am interested to see if Reform will be a shit show and if they are a shit show whether Reform voters will take accountability.

My family think I'm mad for saying that a tiny part of me wants him to win for this reason too.

We've seen Brexit, lending Boris their votes to complete Brexit and of course, the shitshow that is America today.
I really feel like I could tighten my belt just to watch it all crumble 🤦🏾‍♀️.

That's what happens with racists. Still, hopefully HE will leave the country on his EU passport once he's lost again.

The only issue is that we too would be part of the shit show... I'd rather they lose miserably and crawl back under their rock.

We must be very similar because I kinda wanna see the shit show too! Let it all burn. I am partially protected by income and have a second passport if it really hits the fan. So now I am curious.

I think they need to win outright or lose outright. If they kinda win but not enough to form government without coalition then they can blame their failures on other parties.

Even then, the people who support Farage would continue to so.

Some of the people suffering most from Trump's policies still support him. Because they still buy the lie that their troubles are the fault of immigrants etc.

Ooh so edgy, so right on. You're denigrating and stereotyping two destinations. I'm sure the inhabitants would be delighted to hear that the kind left aren't so kind after all.

If they get in it’s because Labour are bad enough to get voted out, so there’s that damage first.

Labour voters haven’t take any responsibility for the current shit show which was entirely predictable.
