prices will start from £24 per month

Would you take it up?

I need to work out what I’m paying per month tbh, but I pay for Now Tv, Netflix, Apple TV and get Disney plus with my bank (Lloyds) - 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Seems to me that we’ve gone back to the days of just having one cable tv bill!! - well done to sky for hanging in there tbh!

Finally got free access to Disney+!! Woohoo. Get to catch up with the new series of Paradise! HBO starts next week.

berlinbaby2025 · 19/03/2026 21:12

Does anyone know if HBO Max will be included with a Now membership? I’m leaning towards probably not as The Pitt hasn’t been advertised on there.

berlinbaby2025 · 26/03/2026 07:57

It’s on there, much to my surprise!

No, she doesn't have Netflix

She may not understand what she has though.

But I just think £24 for Sky and Netflix and all the others - seems unlikely.

My mum was paying £89 a month for just sky plus ad ons films and sports.

We pay for Now for sky atlantic (guess that’s covered in a normal sky subscription?), Netflix and Disney. Never even use Disney tbh, no idea why we still pay. Barely use Netflix either, only if a decent new series is on which is rare.

Interesting. I’m not sure what we’d watch without Netflix!!

mumofoneAloneandwell · 26/03/2026 11:23

I changed our Netflix from £19 to £5 per month. We dont need to watch love is blind in HD 🙄

Plus without friends, its useless anyway

So does the hbo max require a separate payment? Like Hayu does?

The one thing i needed hbo max for was Friends

I paid £49.99 and bought the boxset in HD via amazon prime video!

Not if you're already on Now, no.

I do this

I do this too. You can often pick up offers too which makes it even cheaper / free. I got Disney plus for 3 months for free and free Apple TV for a month via my mobile provider. You can use Tesco clubcard points on Disney to get it half price. Now tv often does half price for first month. I just binge on stuff and cancel.

PuppyMonkey · 26/03/2026 12:21

Now came to me with an offer to have 12 months entertainment package including HBO Max for £2.99 a month. How could I refuse? Grin

with adverts though, which are slightly annoying but not as bad as ITV or Prime.

mum2jakie · 26/03/2026 22:50

We got access to HBO through Sky today but disappointed that some popular films are excluded. Superman not available on our package, for example. We've bought it via a buy and keep offer instead for £5.99.

its all so pricey

but that would include sky tv, and the ability to pause and rewind live tv

Thats sky q. Netflix is not free. If you go for sky stream you get Netflix with adverts free. 😀
